You’ll work alongside experienced surveyors to support major rail projects, while learning to use some of the industry’s most advanced survey equipment and techniques.

If you’re motivated and eager to learn, we’d love to hear from you.

To succeed in this role, you’ll share our values of Safety, People, Excellence and Integrity, and bring:

  • A Construction Induction (White) Card
  • A current C Class Driver’s Licence
  • Ability to pass a Category 3 Rail Medical and drug & alcohol screening
  • First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Willingness to work FIFO from Perth on 12-hour day or night shifts
  • Basic computer literacy (Excel, Outlook, Teams/SharePoint)
  • Strong communication and a team-focused attitude
  • Physically fit and able to work in hot, remote environments
  • Survey or civil construction experience desirable, but not essential
  • Assist in the collection of accurate survey data for rail and civil projects
  • Learn to operate Total Stations, GPS receivers, digital levels & Trimble GEDO rail gear
  • Support control installation using GNSS, traversing and digital levelling methods
  • Conduct basic rail/civil setout tasks under supervision
  • Ensure safe work practices and PPE compliance in all environments
  • Attend daily pre-starts and contribute to a positive safety culture
  • Maintain and organise survey equipment and vehicles
  • Complete documentation and follow site communication protocols
  • Commit to ongoing training and development in survey procedures and rail safety

Job benefits

  • Entry-level FIFO role with clear progression pathways
  • Learn from one of WA’s most respected survey teams
  • Exposure to major rail infrastructure projects across WA
  • Supportive, people-first culture with professional development built in
  • Use of state-of-the-art tech including Trimble, GPS, GEDO, and more
  • Competitive rates and stability through a strong pipeline of work

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
