What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Smelter Services Superintendent and working in a cross-functional environment within Smelter Services, you will be:

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards and business intelligence tools that support contractor governance and operational decision-making.
  • Analyze contractor utilization, workforce trends, safety performance, costs and compliance metrics to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Create contractor performance reporting and KPI insights that inform service reviews, contract renewals and sourcing decisions.
  • Support budget development, expenditure tracking, forecasting, variance analysis and cost reporting for Smelter Services.
  • Integrate and validate information from SAP, contractor management systems, Track, financial systems and other operational data sources.
  • Automate recurring reporting and strengthen data quality, consistency, governance and documentation standards.
  • Prepare clear leadership reports, presentations and recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Improve departmental processes through business process mapping, reporting standardization, document control, action tracking and contractor administration support.

About you

We’re looking for someone whose experience aligns with the key requirements below. You do not need to meet every “helpful for success” item to apply - if you bring relevant experience and are excited by the opportunity, we encourage you to submit an application.

Required for Success

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
  • Skills and Capabilities: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex operational, workforce or financial data and translate findings into clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience: Experience developing dashboards, automated reporting solutions, scorecards or data visualizations that support business decisions.
  • Qualifications: Post-secondary education in business, data analytics, information systems, finance, statistics or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Systems: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Power BI, Power Query or comparable analytics and visualization tools.
  • Communication: Ability to explain complex information clearly through reports, presentations and discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Helpful for Success

  • Experience with SAP or another enterprise resource planning system and consolidating data from multiple business systems.
  • Exposure to contractor governance, cost management, compliance reporting or operational services in a safety-critical industrial environment.
  • Experience with process mapping, reporting standardization, data governance or continuous improvement initiatives.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
