  • Analyse data, emerging trends, and key themes to support audit conclusions and business decision-making.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation, understanding key risks and business challenges.
  • Prepare clear, concise, and impactful audit reports for a range of audiences.
  • Escalate significant findings and contentious issues where appropriate.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of risk management, governance, and internal control frameworks.
  • Promote a culture of compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

About You:

You will be an analytical and commercially minded audit professional with strong stakeholder management skills and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risk.

UK financial services regulations, including SMCR, MiFID II, and Basel III. Internal control and risk management frameworks such as COSO. Financial services products and operations, ideally within wealth management. Investment concepts and securities industry practices.
  • Experience conducting internal audits and developing practical recommendations to address identified findings.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to identify trends, root causes, and key business risks.
  • Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and build effective working relationships across all levels of the business.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-changing regulatory, business, and technology environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CA, CIA, CPA, CFSA, CCSA, or CGAP is preferred.
  • Master's degree or equivalent professional qualification would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrable experience within Internal Audit, Risk, Compliance, or a related financial services environment.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
