VP of Marketing – RoboStrategy
Join the team at RoboStrategy as VP of Marketing
About RoboStrategy
RoboStrategy (Nasdaq: BOT) is on a mission to become the leading public investment vehicle for robotics. We provide investors with access to what we believe are the most transformative companies in robotics, many of which remain private and inaccessible through traditional public markets. RoboStrategy offers strategic, actively managed exposure to the long-term leaders of the category.
RoboStrategy is managed by FP Strategies, its investment advisor. This position is employed by FP Strategies. More about us: www.robostrategy.co.
Role Overview
We are seeking a VP of Marketing to run our marketing engine day to day. RoboStrategy's marketing has grown from a one-person function into a multi-channel operation spanning YouTube, social, newsletter, paid marketing, creator partnerships and international expansion, and we are adding senior leadership to run it as it scales. You will own the strategy, the team and the results: the channel leads and contractors report into your organization, and the growth of our audience is your scoreboard.
We are hiring an operator, and for this seat experience is a prerequisite, not a preference. You should have run marketing at real scale before: owned the budget, led the people and delivered brand or product growth you can attribute and defend. We weigh what you have built and grown more than the titles you have held, you should be genuinely AI-native in how you work, and above all you should be someone who converts marketing activity into measurable growth. Come ready to walk us through the numbers.
What You’ll Do
- Run the marketing engine. Own strategy, planning and day-to-day execution across all of our channels: YouTube, social media, newsletter, paid marketing, creator and KOL partnerships, and regional expansion.
- Lead and grow the team. Manage and develop our channel leads, contractors and agency partners, own hiring against the roadmap, and raise the bar on quality and pace across the organization.
- Own the numbers. Set the KPIs for every channel, own the marketing budget, and report performance to executive leadership with the rigor of a public company: what is working, what is not, and where the next dollar goes.
- Set the creative bar. Define and enforce the standard that separates institutional-grade material from everything else, across research publications, video, social and the website.
- Drive growth. Design and pressure-test creative growth strategies, test cheaply, read results honestly, and scale what earns it.
- Partner across the firm. Work closely with the investment, research and investor relations teams to turn the robotics thesis into marketing that compounds the firm's reach and credibility.
- Own compliance-ready marketing. Run a marketing organization where every piece of external content moves through our compliance review chain and meets the standards applicable to a listed fund. At RoboStrategy this is a core operating skill, not a constraint.
- Build an AI-first marketing organization. Set the standard for how the team uses AI as leverage: repeatable workflows that multiply output without lowering quality, and the judgment to know when the tools are the wrong answer.
Core Qualifications
- 7+ years in marketing, growth or adjacent roles, with meaningful time spent leading a marketing organization or function.
- Direct ownership of a marketing budget of at least $3M, with accountability for how it was allocated and what it returned.
- A track record of growing a product or brand by multiple times in audience or users, at a scale of millions, with the numbers to show for it.
- Experience leading people, managing contractors and agencies, and owning budgets.
- Fluency across the full channel mix: content and video, organic social, newsletters, paid media, and creator or KOL partnerships.
- Experience in financial services, fintech, crypto or investing media is a strong plus, along with the seriousness to operate within a regulated, public-market framework.
- Genuine fluency with generative AI tools and a point of view on how AI changes how a marketing team should run.
- Sharp written and verbal communication, comfortable reporting to executive leadership and representing marketing to a board.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- An operator-builder. You run the machine and make it bigger at the same time.
- Data-driven without being uncreative: bold concepts on the way in, honest measurement on the way out.
- A talent magnet. Strong people want to work for you and do their best work when they do.
- Low ego, high ownership. You write the memo, run the meeting and take responsibility for the outcome.
- Comfortable operating with compliance guardrails at a publicly listed fund, where accuracy matters as much as speed.
- Shares our conviction that robotics will be one of the defining investment themes of the coming decades.
Logistics
Reports to: Executive leadership, working closely with the CEO and the investment, research and investor relations teams.
Location: Fully remote (U.S.).
