The Position

Als Project Cost Engineer (PCE) unterstützt du unsere Projektleitungen bei der finanziellen Steuerung von Investitionsprojekte. Du übernimmst Verantwortung für Kostenkontrolle, Prognosen und Berichtswesen, bringst dein technisches Know-how in unsere bestehende Systemlandschaft ein und treibst aktiv den Einsatz innovativer, KI-gestützter Tools zur Prozessoptimierung voran.

Die Möglichkeit

Mit dieser verantwortungsvollen Aufgabe unterstützt du unser Team mit folgenden Hauptaufgaben:

  • Budgetüberwachung & Kostenkontrolle: Kontinuierliche Überwachung des freigegebenen Projektbudgets, Abgleich von Soll-/Ist-Werten zur Früherkennung von Abweichungen sowie Verwaltung von Contingencies.
  • Cost Forecasting & Cashflow: Erstellung und Aktualisierung von rollierenden Kosten- und Mittelabfluss- (Expenditure) Prognosen inklusive Vorbereitung von Entscheidungsgrundlagen für Steuerungsgremien (z. B. Steering Committees).
  • Kostenschätzung & Cost Breakdown: Unterstützung bei der CAPEX-Kostenschätzung, Strukturierung von Kostenpaketen (Cost Breakdown Structure) und Organisation regelmässiger Cost Reviews im Projektteam.
  • Change Management: Operative Führung des kommerziellen Projekt-Änderungsprozesses (Change Orders, Nachtragsprüfung, Pflege des Change Registers und Anpassung von Budget-Baselines).
  • Projekt-Reporting & KPI-Ermittlung: Termingerechte Erstellung standardisierter Status- und Fortschrittsberichte (z. B. monatliche Project Management Reports) sowie Ermittlung relevanter Projekt-KPIs.
  • Rechnungsprüfung & Beschaffungssupport: Überprüfung und korrekte Kontierung von Rechnungen und Nachträgen in enger Abstimmung mit den Beschaffungs- und Finanzfunktionen.
  • Betreuung der Portfoliosysteme: Sicherer operativer Umgang mit bestehenden Projekt- und Portfoliomanagement-Tools (z. B. CORA, CPPO, SAP, TMT, myBuy) als Ansprechperson im Projekt.
  • Impulse durch KI-Tools & Digitalisierung: Evaluierung und praxisnahe Implementierung moderner, KI-gestützter Lösungen zur Automatisierung von Routineanalysen, Datenaufbereitung und Effizienzsteigerung im Controlling.
  • Schnittstellenkoordination & Continuous Improvement: Aktive Zusammenarbeit mit Projektleitung, Einkauf und Finanzen sowie Mitwirkung an Lessons-Learned-Workshops zur stetigen Weiterentwicklung von Controlling-Standards.

Wer du bist

Um in dieser spannenden Rolle erfolgreich zu sein, bringst du idealerweise folgende Qualifikationen mit:

  • Ausbildung: Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, Betriebswirtschaftslehre, Bau-/Verfahrenstechnik, Naturwissenschaften oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation.
  • Berufserfahrung: >3 Jahren Erfahrung in Project Controls in Kleinen und Mittelgrossen Projekten oder Multi Project Controls / Portfolio Controlling von mehreren Kleinprojekten, idealerweise im Life-Sciences- oder Pharma Anlagenbau Umfeld.
  • System- & Tool-Kompetenz: Fundierte Kenntnisse in MS Excel/Google Workspace; Erfahrung mit ERP- und Portfoliosystemen (wie SAP, CORA, CPPO o. ä.) sind von Vorteil.
  • KI-Affinität: Begeisterung für digitale Trends und konkretes Interesse daran, KI-gestützte Tools (z. B. zur Datenanalyse, Berichterstellung oder Prozessautomatisierung) in den Controlling-Alltag einzubinden.
  • Arbeitsweise: Hohe Zahlenaffinität, sehr gute analytische Fähigkeiten und eine lösungsorientierte Hands-on-Mentalität sowie Eigeninitiative und gute Kommunikationsfähigkeit
  • Sprachen: Sehr gute Deutsch- und fliessende Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift für die Arbeit in interdisziplinären Schnittstellen.
