About the Team

Join a team that builds, integrates, and tests the next generation of aerospace systems. As an Avionics AIT Technician (f/m/d), you will play a key role in transforming engineering designs into fully integrated flight hardware and test systems. Working closely with engineers and technicians, you will contribute directly to mission-critical hardware where precision, reliability, and quality are essential. This role offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise in electrical integration, avionics systems, aerospace standards, and advanced testing methodologies within a highly technical environment. You will work on challenging integration campaigns, solve complex technical issues, and help ensure that flight hardware performs flawlessly. If you are passionate about aerospace technology and enjoy turning designs into operational systems, we would love to hear from you.

Your Tasks

  • Install, route, secure, and inspect avionics hardware, cable harnesses, and electrical interfaces according to engineering drawings and aerospace standards.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical integration of avionics units into test benches, qualification setups, and flight systems while ensuring proper grounding, shielding, strain relief, and EMC compliance.
  • Execute functional, continuity, insulation, and end-to-end electrical tests using multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and dedicated test equipment.
  • Support troubleshooting activities by identifying, isolating, and repairing electrical and integration issues during assembly and testing.
  • Document integration activities, test results, non-conformities, and quality observations in ERP systems and technical documentation.
  • Follow work instructions, schematics, wiring diagrams, cable lists, and configuration control processes to maintain product quality and traceability.
  • Contribute to process improvements, tooling evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance build efficiency and test reliability.

Your Qualifications

Must-Have Skills

  • Completed technical apprenticeship, vocational training, or equivalent practical experience in Electronics, Mechatronics, Avionics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to install, integrate, and test electrical or avionics systems in a structured technical environment.
  • Strong understanding of wiring, harness installation, connectors, grounding, shielding, and electrical interfaces.
  • Experience using electrical test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, or comparable diagnostic tools.
  • Capability to read and work with wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, BOMs, assembly drawings, and test procedures.
  • High level of precision, quality awareness, and attention to detail when handling complex or safety-critical hardware.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and maintain accurate technical records.
  • Professional English communication skills, both written and spoken, in an international work environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience in Avionics AIT, spacecraft integration, aviation, aerospace, defense, or other high-tech industries.
  • Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620, ECSS, MIL-STD, or comparable aerospace and electrical standards.
  • Experience with EMC-sensitive systems and electrical troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ERP, manufacturing execution systems, or electronic work-order documentation.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
