We specialize in building small launch vehicles designed to deploy satellites into Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and beyond. Your Tasks

  • Support the operations team during the preparation for RFA’s inaugural launch
  • Support the commissioning and maintenance of ground and flight hardware
  • Support the operations team in organizational and logistics tasks

Your Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Availability to travel to the Shetland Islands or within Germany for multiple weeks
  • Experience with student rocketry projects, preferably including launch campaigns
  • General knowledge of rocketry,fluid and control systems
  • (Optional) Experience with common CAD programs, preferably NX and KiCAD, Altium, or EPLAN
  • (Optional) Experience with LabVIEW and/or Beckhoff suite
  • Strong practical skills and hands-on focus
  • An organized and independent way of working
  • Fluent in spoken and written English (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
