Regional Flex Driver | Marianna, FL
Picture this: you roll out for a few weeks, run a steady grocery route, and come home to real, earned time off. Along the way, a guaranteed weekly paycheck means a slow week never costs you.
Here's how it works.
You'll be out 3 to 4 weeks at a time, with the occasional special project thrown in. For every week you work, you bank one day off. Operations run around the clock, so a flexible schedule helps. When it's time for your 34-hour reset, a hotel is covered. Prefer your own sleeper? That's fine too.
The freight is groceries in temperature-controlled trailers for a dedicated retail customer. Most loads are no-touch, and a few call for an electric pallet jack. Depending on the assignment, you'll be in a late-model day cab or sleeper.
Now the numbers. Drivers average $120,000 a year, paid weekly. Out of the home terminal, you're guaranteed at least $1,575 a week. Cover loads for other dedicated customers and that guarantee rises to $2,000 a week. On top of that, you'll earn a quarterly loyalty bonus of one cent for every mile driven, plus paid holidays.
The benefits are solid:
• 80 hours of vacation after your first year
• Paid holidays, with PTO starting within 30 days
• Medical, dental, vision, HSA and FSA options
• Short and long-term disability
• Free virtual doctor visits
• Wellness and tuition reimbursement
• 401(k) match of 50% of what you put in, up to 6%, after one year
To be considered, you'll need a valid Class A CDL and at least 9 months of tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years. You must be 22 or older, with no more than 3 moving violations and no more than 1 preventable DOT recordable accident in that same period. Before hire, you'll set up your profile in the federal drug and alcohol clearinghouse and meet English language proficiency standards.
