CDL-A Regional Dry Van Driver | Ohio Mid East Hub | Home Weekly & Up to $1,400/Wk

1. Earning Structure & Pay Guarantees

  • Bring home a steady gross average of $1,200 to $1,400 per week, logging roughly 1,800 miles weekly.
  • Experience CPM Scale: Base pay scales from $0.56 CPM (0–6 mos) up to $0.59 CPM (6–12 mos) and $0.60 CPM (1–2 yrs). Trainee Rate: Entry-level drivers start at $850 per week.
  • Extra Pay Stack: Includes a 3-month wage guarantee right after your first solo run, $40 short-haul extra pay for loads under 100 miles, $15 per stop, and monthly performance bonus eligibility.

2. Freight Operations & Regional Lanes

  • Out-and-back regional dispatches launching from the Ohio Mid East hub, covering IN, KY, OH, and PA. Routes are assigned through a dedicated planner focused on keeping you close to home.
  • Freight Handling: Versatile mix of preloads, drop-and-hooks, live loads, and live unloads in modern sleeper equipment. (Note: Winter weather operation in Midwestern lanes).

3. Home Time Rhythm & Schedule Flexibility

  • Weekly Home Resets: Enjoy reliable 34-hour restarts with weekend home time.
  • Dispatch choices include day, night, and rotational schedules with weekend shifts. Holiday dispatches align with your scheduled home breaks.

4. Experience Standards & Driver Qualifications

  • Trainees Welcome: 0 months experience required if you hold a valid Class-A CDL and have completed at least 120 hours of accredited CDL school training. Experienced drivers are equally welcome.
  • Hiring Zone: Must reside within 120 miles of designated hiring areas in IN, KY, OH, or PA (including metro hubs like Columbus, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Louisville, Lexington, Indianapolis, and Erie).
  • Toxicology: Passing mandatory pre-employment dual-panel hair follicle and urine drug screenings is strictly required.
