Job Description:

Earn a $1000 bonus! This role qualifies for a $1000 Hiring Bonus if you are hired and start working by October 31, 2026. Depending on the position and meeting eligibility requirements, the bonus is paid after 90 days of employment.

Overview As a Customer Service Representative, you will interact with customers to provide and process information in response to orders, inquiries, concerns, and requests about products and services.

The 2nd shift position works full time from 2pm-10PM, Monday-Friday. An example schedule for the weekend shift is below:

  • Monday - 2pm-10pm
  • Tuesday - 2pm-10pm
  • Wednesday - 2pm-10pm
  • Thursday - 2pm-10pm
  • Friday - 2pm-10pm
  • Saturday - 2pm-10pm
  • Sunday - 2pm-10pm

Starting pay $23/hour plus an additional 10% premium for 2nd shift.

The Customer Service Representative is a fully onsite role in Columbus, Ohio. Remote work is not available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction & Communication: Directly engage with customers across multiple channels—including phone, email, digital messaging, and face-to-face—to answer inquiries, address concerns, and process requests promptly
  • Order & Request Processing: Accurately process, enter, update, and audit customer orders
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate, analyze, and resolve customer complaints efficiently while maintaining professional composure
  • Account & Data Management: Maintain precise customer records by accurately documenting all interactions, inquiries, complaints, and follow-up actions in the database
  • Cross-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate and communicate with internal teams (e.g., leadership, operations, etc.) to resolve complex issues and follow up on pending customer requests
  • Onsite Attendance: Maintain regular, predictable, and punctual in-person attendance at the designated work location during scheduled hours. Overtime may be required based on business demand

  • Effective Communication: Must be able to communicate information clearly, concisely, and professionally in both verbal and written interactions across phone, email, and face-to-face channels
  • Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking: Use critical and analytical thinking skills to assess complex customer inquiries or complaints, identify root issues, and determine logical, efficient solutions
  • Attention to Detail & Accuracy: Maintain thoroughness and precision when processing orders, managing customer accounts, and recording interaction details in database systems
  • Interpersonal & Team Collaboration: Build positive working relationships with customers and collaborate seamlessly with internal departments to coordinate resolutions
  • Adaptability & Stress Tolerance: Maintain composure, professionalism, and focus when navigating challenging customer interactions or handling high-volume workloads in an onsite setting
  • Resourcefulness: Demonstrate initiative in utilizing system data, training resources, supervisors, and internal collaboration to efficiently locate information to resolve inquiries
  • Productivity & Time Management: Demonstrate the ability to multitask effectively while consistently meeting call time requirements and overall productivity metrics
  • Technical Skills: Operate computer systems and standard workplace software efficiently to execute daily workflows
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements

  • Workstation & Activity Level: Sitting or standing at a designated workstation for 8 or more hours per day, while frequently traversing the facility for training, meetings, collaboration, and operational support
  • Manual Dexterity & Equipment Usage: Constantly operates a computer, keyboard, mouse, and phone system, requiring precise motor skills and repeated movements of the hands, fingers, and wrists
  • Lifting & Materials Handling: Occasionally lifts, carries, or moves office supplies and products weighing up to 80lbs
