The posting

We are looking for an experienced and driven Chartered Accountant who is eager to take on challenging assignments in Statutory Audit, Direct Tax, and Internal Audit, and contribute to our organization's success.

Job Title: Chartered Accountant (Statutory Audit, Direct Tax, Internal Audit)

Location: Prashant Vihar, New Delhi Experience: 2-6 Years CTC: ₹8-12 LPA

Roles and Responsibilities:

Statutory Audit:

  • Conducting statutory audits for various industries in compliance with applicable laws and standards (e.g., Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST).
  • Reviewing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting and auditing standards (Ind AS/IFRS/IGAAP).
  • Identifying financial and operational risks, discrepancies, and suggesting corrective actions.
  • Coordination with client teams for timely delivery of audit deliverables.

Direct Tax:

  • Managing tax compliance, including preparation and filing of tax returns for corporates, individuals, and partnerships.
  • Handling tax audits and assessments, and providing resolutions to queries from tax authorities.
  • Advising on tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and ensure compliance with the Income Tax Act.
  • Assisting clients in litigation matters and representing them before tax authorities, tribunals, and appellate bodies.

Internal Audit:

  • Designing and executing risk-based internal audit plans for clients across industries.
  • Evaluating internal controls, processes, and systems to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Preparing detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations for management.
  • Monitoring the implementation of recommendations and ensuring continuous improvement.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Mandatory Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) with a valid membership.
  • 2-6 years of relevant post-qualification experience in Statutory Audit, Direct Tax, and Internal Audit.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), Income Tax Act, and relevant auditing principles.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, including GST and TDS regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Tally, SAP, Excel, or other ERP platforms).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
