Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator

ROShell FZC | Fujairah Free Zone 2, Fujairah, UAE

Reports to: Managing Director

Overall Responsibilities

Lead purchasing, logistics and warehouse coordination for a manufacturing business. You will manage suppliers, secure timely material availability, arrange transport and supervise warehouse operations, balancing cost, quality and delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sourcing, quotations, supplier negotiations, purchase orders and delivery follow-up for materials, components and services.
  • Work with production and engineering teams to plan purchases, monitor stock and address material shortages.
  • Maintain accurate order trackers, supplier records and ERP data, and communicate delivery risks and changes.
  • Book inbound and outbound transport and coordinate domestic and international shipments, customs clearance and shipping documentation.
  • Supervise warehouse activities and staff, supporting inventory accuracy, safe material handling and timely dispatch.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery discrepancies, material issues and supplier claims.
  • Analyse landed costs and lead times, check purchasing documents and invoices, and identify cost and process improvements.
  • At least five years of relevant purchasing, logistics or supply chain experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; procurement or logistics qualifications are an advantage.
  • Experience with supplier negotiations, inventory planning, warehouse coordination and import or export shipments.
  • Working knowledge of UAE customs requirements and shipping documentation; UAE Free Zone experience is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems, with practical experience in landed-cost analysis and accurate recordkeeping.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, organization and problem-solving skills, with good written and spoken English.

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least five years of relevant purchasing, logistics or supply chain experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; procurement or logistics qualifications are an advantage.
  • Experience with supplier negotiations, inventory planning, warehouse coordination and import or export shipments.
  • Working knowledge of UAE customs requirements and shipping documentation; UAE Free Zone experience is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems, with practical experience in landed-cost analysis and accurate recordkeeping.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, organization and problem-solving skills, with good written and spoken English.

Experience with pressure vessels, mechanical components, water treatment equipment or industrial fabrication is preferred.
