Great for a Lead Commercial HVAC Tech who wants: Stable, full-time work with consistent hours focused on commercial projects Lead in a team-oriented environment where your contributions are recognized, overseeing and training Techs and some Installers Opportunities to grow your technical skills and learn advanced systems like VRF, VAV, and central AC, RTU’s splits, gas, electric Daily variety – work on a range of HVAC systems in commercial buildings, schools, and industrial facilities. chillers, boilers, air handling units (AHUs), variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems, and building automation systems (BAS). Clear expectations, solid leadership, and chances to work independently or lead other Techs Professional career advancement through continuous learning and skill development in a supportive environment. Collaborative Environment: Be part of a team that values collaboration, safety, and excellence in service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Troubleshooting Diagnostics & Optimization: Troubleshoot and enhance the performance of commercial HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation. Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as filter replacements, system inspections, and performance assessments Controls Integration: Collaborate on integrating HVAC systems with Building Automation Systems (BAS) to optimize energy efficiency and performance. Client Engagement: Communicate effectively with clients to assess HVAC needs and provide informed recommendations. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and complies with relevant regulations. This Job Is: Open to Universal EPA & HVAC Commercial Techs with 3+ years of experience. Good fit for an industry-passionate Tech looking to grow their career Great place to grow and have a supportive company with great union benefits. Knowledge of the latest HVAC technologies and trends in the commercial sector. Excellent communication skills for client and team interactions. Requirements 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC maintenance and diagnostics. Universal EPA, OSHA 10 or 30 certification - preferred Leadership experience training and managing Techs and Installers Able to travel 24-50% of the time including some over night. Proficiency in reading HVAC blueprints and technical diagrams. Experience with BAS integration and HVAC control systems is a plus Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
