Every part you release keeps a Flying Doctor aircraft ready for its next patient. A hands-on role with real variety, from receiving and certifying parts to chasing AOG spares and managing OEM warranty claims. Build your aviation supply chain career alongside engineers maintaining turboprops, jets and helicopters. Full-time, permanent role at Jandakot working 6am to 2pm, with free on-site parking and not-for-profit salary packaging.
About the team Our Engineering team keeps one of the world’s most remote and complex aviation operations flying. From Jandakot and regional maintenance bases in Broome, Port Hedland, Kalgoorlie and Meekatharra, we support 17 Pilatus PC-12s, three PC-24 jets and two EC145 helicopters, with new PC-12 PRO aircraft entering service and a Geraldton base on the way. Logistics is where aircraft availability starts. When an aircraft is grounded at a remote base, a patient is waiting. You’ll join a small team led by our Aviation Logistics Manager, working closely with engineers, planners, Finance and Operations. About the role
Receive, inspect and release aircraft parts, verify certification (CASA Form 1, EASA Form 1, FAA 8130-3) and keep inventory accurate, including shelf-life and quarantined items, in line with CASA Part 145. Pick, pack and dispatch components to our bases, coordinate freight and respond fast to Aircraft on Ground (AOG) requests from our engineers. Manage supplier and OEM relationships to secure the right pricing, turnaround and warranty outcomes, reconcile purchase orders, invoices and freight, and track spend against budget.
About you
Experience in logistics, stores or inventory control within aviation, engineering or another technical, regulated environment. Strong attention to detail with certification and records. You know a part isn’t ready until the paperwork is. Confident using inventory or ERP systems and reconciling purchase orders, invoices and freight. We use WinAir and will train you if you’ve worked with a similar system. Supplier management experience and the confidence to follow warranty claims and supplier issues through to resolution. Calm under pressure, with the judgement to move quickly without cutting corners. A forklift licence or Dangerous Goods certification is a bonus.
