Royal IHC is op zoek naar een Senior HSE Specialist voor de afdeling Health, Safety & Environment.

In deze rol ondersteun je de business bij het waarborgen van een veilige en gezonde werkomgeving, zowel op Royal IHC-terrein als op projectlocaties. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen, implementeren en bewaken van HSE-beleid en -richtlijnen, zodat werkzaamheden veilig, duurzaam en volgens geldende wet- en regelgeving kunnen worden uitgevoerd.

Als HSE Specialist rapporteer je direct aan de Manager Health, Safety & Environment en ben je vooral aan het werk voor de werf in Kinderdijk. Je bent niet alleen verantwoordelijk voor het borgen van beleid, maar ook voor het verder brengen van Royal IHC: je initieert verbeteringen, stimuleert een proactieve veiligheidscultuur en vertaalt HSE-beleid naar praktische en werkbare oplossingen. Daarnaast heb je een coördinerende rol in het I-CARE veiligheidsprogramma en draag je bij aan de verdere professionalisering van HSE binnen Royal IHC.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

• Beheren van het managementsysteem volgens ISO-45001 en ISO-14001 certificaten; • Coördineren en verder ontwikkelen van het I-CARE veiligheidsprogramma; • Fungeren als senior sparringspartner voor het management en de werf; • Realiseren van de doelstellingen uit het HSE-plan; • Onderzoek verrichten naar aanleiding van ongevallen en onveilige situaties; • Ondersteunen van de organisatie op de naleving van de HSE-procedure,- en instructies; • Het opstellen van de nodige analyses, rapportages en implementatie van preventieve maatregelen.

Wat breng jij mee: • Je beschikt over een afgeronde opleiding in veiligheidskunde (IVK of HVK), kandidaten met een MVK-diploma en passende aanvullende ervaring nodigen we nadrukkelijk uit om te reageren;

• Minimaal 5 jaar relevante werkervaring binnen Safety, Health & Environment;

• Sterke affiniteit met techniek, ervaring met of interesse in maritieme techniek is een pre; • Uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal (vereist); • Ervaring met verandering en verbeterprogramma’s; • Bekend met relevante wet- en regelgeving; • Bekend met certificaten als ISO-45001 en ISO-14001; • Je bent praktisch-pragmatisch, praktisch maken van voorschriften om ze toepasbaar te maken.

Let op: Een VOG (Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag) en het kunnen verkrijgen én behouden van de vereiste veiligheidsmachtiging zijn verplicht voor deze functie.
