The posting

Als IT Project Manager – Defence Projects ben je verantwoordelijk voor de end-to-end oplevering van een veilige IT‑infrastructuur en applicatielandschap, conform de geldende ABDO- en ABRO‑richtlijnen.

Je zorgt ervoor dat projecten worden uitgevoerd binnen de afgesproken scope, planning, budget, kwaliteit en security-eisen, en voldoen aan alle relevante defensie‑regelgeving, contractuele afspraken en IT‑governance richtlijnen.

In deze rol ben jij het centrale aanspreekpunt voor toegewezen IT-defensieprojecten en stuur je op samenwerking tussen business, IT, security, legal en externe leveranciers. Je opereert binnen defensieprogramma’s en geclassificeerde omgevingen

Verantwoordelijkheden:

1. Projectmanagement & delivery

  • Initiëren, plannen, uitvoeren en afronden van IT‑defensieprojecten
  • Opstellen en beheren van projectdocumentatie (planning, risico’s, besluiten, acties)
  • Werken volgens gestructureerde methodieken (bijv. PRINCE2, PMI, Agile/Hybrid)
  • Zorgen voor tijdige oplevering van projectresultaten

2. Security & compliance

  • Borgen dat oplossingen voldoen aan:Defensie-eisen (ABDO, ABRO, nationale regelgeving) Cybersecurity- en informatiebeveiligingsrichtlijnen Regelgeving zoals GDPR en NIS2
  • Zorgvuldig omgaan met vertrouwelijke en geclassificeerde informatie

3. Stakeholdermanagement

  • Eerste aanspreekpunt voor alle IT-projectzaken
  • Afstemmen verwachtingen en communicatie met stakeholders
  • Rapporteren van voortgang aan management en stuurgroepen
  • Escaleren van risico’s en knelpunten

4. Supplier & contract management

  • Aansturen en coördineren van externe leveranciers
  • Monitoren van prestaties t.o.v. contracten en SLA’s
  • Ondersteunen bij inkoop en aanbestedingen
  • Toezien op naleving van security- en defensie-eisen

5. Risico, kwaliteit & change

  • Proactief identificeren en beheersen van risico’s
  • Beheren van wijzigingen via formele change processen
  • Waarborgen van kwaliteit en acceptatie van deliverables
  • Zorgdragen voor governance en documentatie

6. Financieel & resource management

  • Beheren van projectbudgetten en forecasts
  • Monitoren van kosten en financiële risico’s
  • Coördineren van resourceplanning

Verantwoordelijkheid & bevoegdheden:

  • Eindverantwoordelijk voor projectresultaten
  • Bevoegd om:Teams aan te sturen over afdelingen heen Budgetten te beheren Issues te escaleren
  • Werkt binnen vastgestelde governance- en securityrichtlijnen

Profiel:

Opleiding

  • HBO- of WO-opleiding in IT, Projectmanagement of vergelijkbaar

Ervaring

  • 5–8 jaar ervaring in IT-projectmanagement
  • Ervaring in defensie, overheid, aerospace of gereguleerde omgevingen
  • Ervaring met IT-infrastructuur, cloud en cybersecurity
  • Internationale en multidisciplinaire ervaring

Certificeringen (pré)

  • PRINCE2 Practitioner
  • PMP of IPMA
  • Agile / SAFe
  • ITIL
  • Security/compliance certificeringen

Let op: Een VOG (Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag) en het kunnen verkrijgen én behouden van de vereiste veiligheidsmachtiging zijn verplicht voor deze functie. Een relevante screening maakt onderdeel uit van het selectieproces. Voor deze functie is het verkrijgen van een Verklaring van Geen Bezwaar (VGB) verplicht. Dit veiligheidsonderzoek maakt onderdeel uit van de selectieprocedure.
