Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Retain and grow revenue across assigned client relationships, expand wallet share, and partner effectively with sales on opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
  • Communicate firm investment views clearly and credibly, tailoring advice to each client’s objectives, governance structure, stakeholder needs, and level of investment sophistication.
  • Partner with the sales team in closing new business with existing and prospective clients

Relationship Management & Communication

  • Serve as the primary CCIO for significant, complex, and/or strategically important client relationships, including relationships with meaningful revenue, sophisticated governance structures, and senior client decision-makers.
  • Lead high-stakes client interactions with executive presence and sound judgment, including board, investment committee, C-suite, and other senior stakeholder meetings.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination across internal stakeholders including investment analysts, administrative leads, strategists, sales, product/solutions, Investment Division, and other internal partners to deliver integrated advice, resolve complex client issues, and ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience.
  • Contribute to broader Client CCIO platform effectiveness by mentoring others, sharing best practices, strengthening client delivery standards, and supporting functional or department priorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; CFA strongly preferred.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 required or ability to obtain within 90 days.
  • Significant experience working with institutional investors, with demonstrated success managing and growing institutional client relationships. Experience with retirement plans and not-for-profit clients preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with sophisticated institutional clients, boards, and investment committees providing advice on investment policy, strategic asset allocation, liability-driven investing, capital market forecasting, portfolio implementation, and alternatives.

  • Proven commercial orientation, including demonstrated success retaining revenue, growing revenue, and identifying opportunities to deepen client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally, influence without direct authority, mentor others, and contribute beyond individual client relationships.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
