The posting

Legal teams don’t change how they work very often. And when they do, it sticks for years. Right now, most of them are making that call about AI. What they pick will shape how their clients experience the law for a long time. So we don’t treat these conversations as just a sale. We’d rather take the time to help a team get it right than rush them into a decision they’ll quietly undo later.

Saga builds AI for legal teams. Legal professionals spend a big chunk of their week hunting for the right source, checking it’s still good law, and redoing work that’s been done before. We want to take that friction away, so they can focus on people, ethics and work that matters. Saga was founded in Norway and built for the legal profession from day one. We connect to local legal sources across multiple jurisdictions and work in 12 languages. In 18 months we’ve grown to 85+ people and 6,000+ users in 20+ countries. We lead the market in Norway and the Netherlands and are expanding across Europe. We’re a global team of builders, legal professionals and engineers. We believe the law should work the way it’s meant to: aligned, accountable, and human. For everyone.

Those AI conversations are happening across Europe right now. In the Netherlands, you’ll be the one leading them.

Your role as Business Development Representative, Netherlands We’re expanding the Benelux market, and this role is where that story starts in the Netherlands. You’ll open conversations with law firms and legal networks, listen closely to how their work really runs, and show them what AI built into the way lawyers already work could look like. Your market knowledge will help us shape how Saga shows up for Dutch lawyers. You’ll work closely with our Account Executives, who take qualified opportunities forward, and with colleagues as part of an international sales team.

What you’ll be doing

  • Find new opportunities in the Dutch market by following up on inbound interest and reaching out to law firms, legal networks and innovation hubs by phone, email and LinkedIn.
  • Get to know each prospect’s business, concerns and goals, then use your judgment to qualify them and move them through our pipeline, doing demos of the product. Shape your pitch around what matters to them, including Dutch legal workflows and compliance priorities.
  • Be the first point of contact for Dutch prospects at Saga, explaining what we offer in plain terms and handing qualified opportunities to our Account Executives with the context they need.
  • Share what you learn about the Dutch market with us and help shape our sales engagement strategy and go-to-market positioning.
  • Build a network of referral partners and legal associations, represent Saga at legal tech events, conferences and meetups, and ensuring all activity is logged in HubSpot.

What you bring to our team

  • 3+ years or equivalent experience in business development, sales development or inside sales, ideally in SaaS, technology or B2B services.
  • Experience finding, engaging and qualifying leads in the Dutch market through phone, email, LinkedIn and events, and using a CRM such as Pipedrive, HubSpot or Salesforce to move them through the pipeline.
  • Clear, confident communication in Dutch and in English, written and spoken, at a full professional level.
  • You’re based in the Netherlands and are able to travel within the region frequently.
  • A way of working built on listening well, earning trust, staying curious and sticking with it when outreach takes time.
  • An interest in AI technology and the ability to learn quickly.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
