About Our Family

We are a warm, active family of four seeking steady support to help keep our home and routines running smoothly. Both parents work full-time —as a physician with a full schedule and in tech with frequent travel. Our two children, ages 6 and 3, are active, curious, and playful. They both enjoy time outdoors and love creative activities like art, science projects, and exploring new things. They also participate in after school activities such as swimming.

We’re seeking a proactive, kind, and highly organized partner to help keep our home running smoothly, help with home systems, and to occasionally lend a hand with the kids. Our ideal candidate is calm, creative, and takes initiative — someone who sees what needs to be done, communicates clearly, and brings structure and care to the home environment. We value reliability, autonomy, and long-term collaboration. We want someone we can trust, be in partnership with, and who can be a reliable support person for our family. Ideally, you have a background in childhood education or experience with childcare.

Key Responsibilities

Household Management & Organization

  • Maintain daily tidiness throughout the home and reset key areas (kitchen, playroom, family spaces).
  • Load/unload dishwasher, wipe surfaces, vacuum high traffic areas, sweeping under the table
  • Create and maintain household systems (e.g., closets, storage, pantry, toy organization, etc.)
  • Conduct seasonal swaps (clothing, décor, bedding) and prepare donations/pickups.
  • Ensure spaces are prepped for weekly cleaning services.
  • Oversee family and household calendars; help ensure smooth transitions for weekly activities.
  • Support general home maintenance (changing filters, light bulbs, etc.) and help coordinate vendors for seasonal tasks (e.g., irrigation, HVAC, pruning).

Inventory & Errands

  • Track and restock pantry, fridge, toiletries, household supplies
  • Create and manage running household supply lists
  • Coordinate and manage household orders (Amazon, Costco, Target, etc.)
  • Run errands: grocery shopping, returns, dry cleaning, gift shopping
  • Handle package pickup, mail sorting, and deliveries

Meal Planning & Preparation

  • Plan and prep healthy, balanced meals for adults and kids (2–3 dinners per week).
  • Prep items for school lunches (e.g., cut fruit, pack snacks).
  • Grocery shop for fresh ingredients, pantry staples, and meal-related items.
  • Follow family preferences: veggie-forward, plant-based, balanced meals (protein, veggie, carb).
  • Clean/ reset kitchen and keep tidy and organized after meal prep.

Laundry & Linen Care

  • Wash, dry, fold, and organize family laundry.
  • Keep laundry areas tidy and well-stocked with supplies

Vendor & Property Oversight

  • Track monthly/quarterly/yearly home upkeep tasks and assist in scheduling vendors

Family & Child Support

  • Help with occasional school/activity pickups (2–4x/month).
  • Provide light childcare and play supervision (arts & crafts, outdoor play, creative activities).
  • Offer back-up childcare coverage
  • Assist with 1–2 date nights per month

Deep Cleaning & Household Projects

  • Periodic deep cleaning of fridge, oven, and other high-use areas.
  • Help refresh and organize spaces such as the mudroom, garage, or special rooms.
  • Support special projects like photo framing, seasonal decorations, or fruit harvesting from family trees.

Administrative & Personal Assistant Support

  • Help manage calendars and reminders (appointments, school schedules, activity schedules, helping to coordinate playdates).
  • Support travel and logistics planning.
  • Research local activities, camps, or weekend ideas for family fun.
  • Assist with coordination of events, appointments, and guest prep

The Ideal Candidate

You are warm, organized, and proactive — a true partner in creating order and calm for a busy household. You bring initiative, creativity, and flexibility to your work and genuinely enjoy helping families thrive. You are reliable, communicative and comfortable balancing both household systems and light family support. You’re comfortable working with kids and being active with them and can flex between managing household tasks and family logistics.

You take ownership of your work, communicate clearly, and enjoy autonomy while being collaborative. You’re proactive about finding solutions, dependable, and steady — someone who helps our household run more smoothly so that we can focus on quality time as a family.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
