About Our Family

We are a warm, busy, and easygoing family of six with four children ranging from preschool through high school, plus a beloved family dog. Our home is active and full of life, with kids involved in school, sports, and plenty of day-to-day activities. Both parents work from home part-time while managing their business, so our household is often in motion. We have a casual, open communication style and are looking for someone who can become a trusted, natural part of our home rather than simply working around the edges of it.

Our days are fluid - what's planned on Sunday may look completely different by Wednesday, and we're looking for someone who can embrace that flexibility with us. We have a biweekly cleaning crew, but there’s plenty of ongoing household management happening every day to keep everything running smoothly. Above all, we're looking for a dependable, proactive person who will bring warmth, good judgment, and a genuine team mentality to our household.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

You are warm, proactive, and organized with the ability to walk into a busy home and recognize what needs to happen next. You take pride in creating order and making a family's day easier, whether that means managing laundry, getting the house ready for the cleaning crew, prepping food, or making sure the kids have what they need for the next day's activities. You communicate openly and honestly, follow through on what you say you'll do, and can take direction while also using good judgment and initiative.

You enjoy being around children and understand that supporting a family means being willing to pitch in wherever you're needed. You can shift gears when plans change, stay calm when the afternoon gets busy, and approach household tasks with a can-do attitude. We're looking for someone to own that afternoon window with us: picking up our youngest, keeping the house running, and slowly taking on more as trust builds. We're open to candidates with different levels of experience, including someone who is motivated to grow into the role over time. What matters most is that you're reliable, thoughtful, resourceful, and genuinely invested in helping our household run well.

  • Prepare the youngest child's backpack, snacks, lunch, and extra clothing for the following school day.
  • Provide occasional pickups for older children as needed.

Household Organization & Maintenance

  • Complete daily household resets, including light tidying, dishes, surface wipe-downs, and organization of high-traffic areas.
  • Refresh and improve existing household systems, complete outstanding organizational projects, and establish new systems that are functional and easy to maintain.
  • Organize and complete special projects such as sorting children's clothing, toys, and sports gear, and coordinating seasonal clothing transitions.
  • Coordinate donation drop-offs and manage items being donated or passed along.

  • Handle special garment care, including ironing or steaming as needed.
  • Maintain a tidy and well-stocked laundry area.
  • Rotate household linens as needed, with the cleaning crew handling sheet washing.
  • Encourage and assist older children in taking responsibility for their own laundry.

Meal Prep Support

  • Unpack and organize groceries after they are purchased by a family member.
  • Wash and prepare produce and organize grab-and-go snacks and other easy-to-access foods.
  • Batch prep proteins, vegetables, grains, and other ingredients for weeknight meals.
  • Prepare 2-3 family meals per week using provided family recipes.
  • Prepare school lunches as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen following meal preparation.

Inventory & Errands

  • Maintain household supply lists and ensure the pantry, refrigerator, and household essentials remain stocked.
  • Sort mail and packages and break down shipping boxes.
  • Handle returns, dry cleaning pickups, and other occasional errands.

  • Manage Facebook Marketplace and resale logistics, including creating listings, coordinating pickups, and handling transactions.

  • Keep the family vehicle lightly cleaned and organized as needed.
  • Schedule routine vehicle maintenance appointments as needed.

Pet Care

  • Schedule and coordinate pet grooming and veterinary appointments.
  • Monitor and maintain the household's pet supply inventory as needed.

Administrative & Personal Assistant Support

  • Maintain visibility into the family calendar and anticipate upcoming needs, including preparing sports uniforms and other activity-related items.
  • Assist with travel preparation by charging devices and organizing travel essentials.

Vendor & Property Oversight

  • Research, vet, and present vendor options for household projects, repairs, and services.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
