About Our Family

We're a warm, active family of four in northeast Atlanta with two energetic young kids who keep life fun and busy! With both parents working demanding schedules, we're looking for someone special who can help bring a little more ease to our days and allow us to spend more quality time together as a family.

We love cooking together, spending time outdoors, and creating a calm, organized home where our children can thrive. While we have wonderful support from our cleaners, we're hoping to find a caring, dependable person who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly and genuinely enjoys being part of our family's daily rhythm.

We value kindness, open communication, and mutual respect. More than anything, we're looking to build a lasting relationship with someone who truly cares about our family and feels like a trusted, appreciated part of our team.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

You're organized, dependable, and detail-oriented, with a natural ability to keep a household running smoothly. You take pride in your work, follow through on responsibilities, and genuinely enjoy creating order and making everyday life easier for others. You're proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working independently while also valuing clear direction, open communication, and feedback.

Beyond household management, you have a warm, nurturing personality and genuinely enjoy spending time with children. Whether helping with afternoon routines or getting outside for some fresh air, you bring patience, kindness, and positive energy to your interactions.

Above all, you're trustworthy, flexible, and a kind communicator who welcomes feedback and values working together. We're looking for someone eager to learn our family's routines, build trust, and grow into the role with us over time.

Key Responsibilities

Family Support

  • School pickups 2-3x week; engaging, attentive supervision through the afternoon
  • Afternoon routine support: keeping kids active, stimulated, and on schedule
  • Sorting and preparing outgrown children's clothing for donation or consignment
  • Prepare children's clothing and school uniforms
  • Light homework and sight-word support as needed
  • Kid-related errands as needed
  • Opportunity for more hours: extended hours on occasional school closure days, if one of the children is sick, and date-night coverage, if your schedule allows

Household Organization & Maintenance

  • Daily household reset, dishes, tidying surfaces, and preparing the home ahead of biweekly cleaners
  • Create and maintain household organization systems
  • Routine home upkeep: replacing batteries, light bulbs, and smoke detector batteries
  • Declutter and coordinate donation drop-offs
  • Indoor plant care
  • Screened porch light refresh and upkeep
  • Dehumidifier and HEPA air purifier maintenance

Deep Cleaning & Special Projects

  • Occasional deep cleans/reorganizing: refrigerator, cabinets, pantry
  • Organizational projects: toys, gear, closets, and storage areas
  • Toy rotation and play-space maintenance

Inventory & Errands

  • Manage and restock household supplies; maintain a running list
  • Returns, dry cleaning, gift shopping, and general errands
  • Break down and sort boxes for recycling

Meal Support

  • Ingredient preparation for approximately three dinners per week (marinating, chopping, etc.)
  • Prepare healthy snacks for children
  • Grocery shopping in-store or putting away Instacart deliveries
  • Kitchen cleanup and maintenance

Laundry & Linens

  • Wash, fold, and put away laundry for the household
  • Keep children's school uniforms and activity clothing clean and ready
  • Ironing and steaming of adult clothing; special garment care as needed
  • Ensure clean linens are set out and ready for cleaners to change on schedule
  • Maintain a tidy and well-stocked laundry area

Vehicle Upkeep

  • Fueling, cleaning, and organizing the family vehicle
  • Scheduling routine maintenance and oil changes

Administrative & Personal Assistant Support

  • Travel research and logistics assistance as needed

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
