About Our Family

We're a warm, active family of four living on the Connecticut shoreline with our two young daughters and two beloved pets. Like many busy families, our schedules are full, and we've reached a point where investing in additional household support will allow us to spend more of our time focused on our family rather than the logistics of running our home.

We're hiring because we recognize the value of a well-managed household. Our goal is to reduce the day-to-day mental load that comes with balancing work, parenting, and household responsibilities, creating more space for quality time together. We view this role as an investment in our family's well-being, knowing that thoughtful support behind the scenes allows our home to operate more smoothly and our family to be more present with one another.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

You are the kind of person who naturally sees what needs to be done and takes initiative without waiting for direction. You walk into a home, quickly understand how it functions, identify opportunities to make life easier, and confidently step in to create order and ease. You don’t need a checklist—you have an instinct for finding the gaps, anticipating needs, and building systems that help a household run beautifully. You are empathetic, respectful of personal space, and comfortable becoming a trusted part of a busy family's daily rhythm. You understand that great household management is about more than completing tasks—it’s about creating an environment where a family can feel supported, present, and at ease.

The primary focus of this role is to serve as the trusted partner who keeps our household running smoothly - bringing order, consistency, and thoughtful support to the many moving pieces of daily family life. You will take ownership of a variety of household responsibilities, including planning and preparing two family dinners each week, creating and maintaining organizational systems throughout the home, and proactively managing the countless details that allow a busy household to function with ease. Your work will reduce the family's mental load, creating more space for us to be present with one another and enjoy our time together.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
