CDL-A Semi-Local Driver – Troutdale, OR

Pay Details & Schedule

  • Average Annual Pay: $95,000
  • Average Weekly Pay: Approximately $1,850
  • Mileage Pay: $0.48–$0.58 CPM
  • Yearly CPM Increases: $0.01 until reaching the maximum rate of $0.58 CPM
  • Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
  • Approximately 1,700 miles per week
  • Tuesday–Saturday schedule
  • Start times between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM
  • Average of 2–3 layovers per week
  • Approximately 12-hour workdays
  • Online orientation available

Job Details

  • Dedicated grocery freight account
  • Starting location: Troutdale, OR
  • Deliveries to stores and warehouses throughout Oregon and Northern California
  • Preloaded refrigerated trailers with approximately 2–4 stops per load
  • Drivers unload using an electric pallet jack and/or liftgate
  • May be assigned to assist other local accounts 1–3 times per week; outsourced work is paid at a daily rate
  • Assigned automatic sleeper trucks
  • Trucks must remain at the account during time off

Job Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
  • Clean driving record
  • Valid DOT Medical Card
  • No SAP drivers
  • Must be willing and able to chain when weather requires
  • Comfortable driving in winter weather and snow
  • Able to unload freight using an electric pallet jack and/or liftgate
  • Must be flexible and willing to assist other local accounts as needed
