  • Help develop designs that meet technical requirements while considering manufacturing constraints and assembly methods.
  • Participate in design reviews, project discussions and cross-functional team activities.
  • Support shop-floor troubleshooting by gathering information, reviewing drawings and helping identify practical solutions.
  • Assist with technical documentation, engineering change activities and product-related publications.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, supply chain and vendors to clarify technical requirements.

What you will bring along

  • A foundational understanding of mechanical design principles gained through coursework, academic projects, previous work or student-team experience.
  • Experience with 3D CAD modelling; Siemens NX experience is an asset but is not required.
  • Interest in machine design, manufacturing, welded structures, hydraulics, pneumatics, powertrains or control systems.

  • Eligibility to work in Canada for the full duration of the co-op term.
  • A positive, curious and safety-focused approach to learning.

In return for your passion and drive we will offer you...

  • Hands-on engineering experience with products used in the global mining industry.
  • Mentorship and practical guidance from experienced engineering and manufacturing professionals.
  • Exposure to the full product-development process, from design and documentation to production and troubleshooting.
  • Opportunities to strengthen your CAD, technical communication and project-management skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in an international, industry-leading organization.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
