The posting

We’re looking for an experienced Demand Planner to join our SRGM & Commercial Operations team and play a key role in shaping accurate, commercially aligned demand forecasts.

You’ll own the end-to-end forecasting process across channels, bringing together sales data, promotional activity, seasonal trends, new product launches and commercial insights to create reliable demand plans.

Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Category, SRGM, Finance, Supply and Logistics, you’ll help turn commercial plans into clear demand signals that support supply, inventory and business performance.

What you'll do

  • Own the end-to-end demand forecasting process across assigned channels.
  • Develop and maintain forecasts covering baseline, promotional, seasonal and new product (NPD) volumes.
  • Conduct regular channel reviews to assess forecast performance, risks and opportunities.
  • Use forecasting tools, including Blueshift, and historical sales data to improve forecast accuracy and planning efficiency.
  • Incorporate seasonal trends, product lifecycle changes and product rationalisation plans into demand forecasts.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Category and SRGM teams to translate promotional calendars, market activity and new product launches into demand assumptions.
  • Lead the seasonal planning process and ensure forecasts are aligned with commercial commitments and supply readiness.
  • Reconcile customer contractual commitments with demand plans to support reliable supply and service delivery.
  • Analyse forecast accuracy and bias, including month-on-month forecast changes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Leverage internal and external data, including market insights and customer POS data, to strengthen forecasting assumptions.
  • Provide demand inputs into weekly S&OE (Sales & Operations Execution) forums.
  • Communicate and confidently explain forecast changes, particularly those affecting the locked supply horizon or creating abnormal demand scenarios.
  • Support decision-making during constrained supply situations by providing clear demand information and scenario inputs.
  • Work closely with Supply Planning to ensure demand plans support inventory targets, cash flow optimisation and minimisation of obsolescence.
  • Provide forward visibility to support procurement and production planning.

What you'll bring

We’re looking for someone with strong FMCG demand planning experience who can combine analytical capability with commercial thinking and strong stakeholder management.

You'll ideally have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
  • A successful track record working in FMCG Supply or Demand Planning.
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end supply chain.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong PowerPoint capability.
  • High-level systems capability and confidence working with forecasting and planning tools.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to turn data into meaningful insights.
  • Experience with forecast accuracy, forecast bias and demand forecasting analysis.
  • Strong planning, organisation and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to present to an audience.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build effective relationships across different functions.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders at different levels, even without direct authority.
  • A proactive, resourceful and independent approach to problem-solving.
  • The ability to work autonomously while also following direction and collaborating effectively.
  • Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Why join us?

This is an opportunity to play a key role in connecting commercial strategy with supply chain execution.

You’ll work across Sales, Marketing, Category, Finance, Supply and Logistics, using data and commercial insights to help the business make better planning decisions, improve forecast accuracy and optimise inventory.

If you’re an experienced FMCG Demand Planner who enjoys working with data, influencing stakeholders and turning commercial activity into accurate demand plans, we’d love to hear from you.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
