Job Summary

Assist in supervising structural, architectural, and M&E installation works to ensure compliance with approved plans, building codes, and contract specifications while coordinating with consultants and contractors to deliver quality and timely project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in supervising structural, architectural, and mechanical & electrical installation works on assigned projects to ensure adherence to approved plans and building regulations
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to implement instructions and plans effectively, ensuring quality workmanship and timely completion
  • Conduct regular site inspections to maintain consistent monitoring of construction progress and compliance with contract specifications
  • Identify and report potential quality defects and their impact on project outcomes to relevant stakeholders
  • Prepare and submit detailed weekly site reports on project performance and progress to support informed decision-making
  • Promote good construction practices among building contractors to uphold high standards of workmanship
  • Carry out inspection and supervision of architectural and M&E works competently to ensure project objectives are met
  • Apply good interpersonal skills to facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma in Building or Architectural
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supervising building projects in Singapore, preferably with a focus on architectural trades

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Good interpersonal skills (moved here as it supports collaboration but is not a mandated certification or core technical skill)
