Resident Technical Officer (RTO)

Job Responsibilities

  1. Supervise and monitor civil and infrastructure works.
  2. Ensure all works follow approved drawings and project specifications.
  3. Report any safety incidents, near-misses and non-compliance issues.
  4. Prepare and submit daily site reports.
  5. Ensure contractors and subcontractors follow safety rules and procedures.
  6. Check work quality and report any defects to the RE.
  7. Maintain proper site records and documentation.
  8. Monitor site changes and ensure proper approval is obtained.
  9. Carry out regular site inspections and supervise critical activities.
  10. Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health requirements.

Job Requirements

  1. Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience.
  3. Able to read and understand construction drawings.
  4. Knowledge of site safety requirements and quality control.
  5. Good communication and reporting skills.
  6. Willing to work rotating shifts.
  7. Able to work full-time at the assigned project site.
