Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader to join our Record to Report team and drive financial accuracy and efficiency. The role is crucial in ensuring accurate financial reporting and efficient processes while leading a small team which covers 5 countries.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements in compliance with IFRS rules and SLA frame of the local sites.Perform / coordinate / oversee the Month End Close activities in cooperation with other departments and perform manual journal entries & IFRS adjustments to comply with company policies. Be accountable for preparation and timely submission of month-end group reporting packages for entities in scope, including disclosure schedules. Coordinate and support all activities related to general ledger accounting, restructuring, intercompany accounting, payroll, tax agenda (including VAT and CIT compliance) & balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Coordination of group, statutory, and internal audit activities for entities in scope.
  • Manage team performance, including setting objectives, providing feedback, and supporting professional development and potential growth.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize the SAP ERP system and financial software tools effectively.
  • Active participation in internal and external projects.

Qualifications

  • A strong background in accounting, finance and taxes from SSC environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles, with a focus on IFRS reporting framework. Solid knowledge of Czech or Slovak statutory accounting standards.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams and driving performance.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and self-organized personality.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel.
  • Proactively drive the process improvement to ensure the customer needs are fulfilled through proactive involvement and interaction.
  • Good command of English and Czech or Slovak
