ABOUT THE COMPANY

Savvital is a forward-thinking organization that provides diversified services to small and medium-sized businesses in the international market, enabling them to build their future while benefiting from our customized solutions. Our team of educated experts are motivated individuals excited to handle tasks that add real capacity to a client's workday.

Our mission is to provide affordable solutions to growing companies through strategic task delegation. We envision creating an ecosystem that resonates with the human touch every business needs.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client acquires and retains profitable B2B SaaS businesses. They are looking for an experienced M&A Finance Lead to oversee Quality of Earnings (QofE) analysis, financial due diligence, and post-acquisition integration support.

In this role, you will bring key QofE activities in-house while working alongside external financial due diligence providers. You will take ownership of financial data collection and analysis from the initial due diligence stage through to the preparation of integration data packs.

You will play an important role in connecting financial due diligence with post-acquisition integration, ensuring that findings are carried forward, financial information is accurate, and teams have the data they need without repeatedly requesting the same information.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality of Earnings (QofE) Analysis

  • Prepare detailed QofE analyses covering normalized EBITDA, revenue quality, recurring and non-recurring revenue, GRR/NRR, and customer concentration.
  • Assess working capital, net debt, debt-like items, and potential tax and payroll exposures.
  • Review, challenge, and reconcile the work completed by external QofE providers, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Prepare financial analyses using the company's standard reporting format, including monthly P&L, budgets, forecasts, and 12-month P&L reporting aligned with the company's account allocation structure.

Financial Due Diligence & Data Collection

  • Manage the financial, QofE, and tax sections of the due diligence request process from initiation through completion.
  • Coordinate and issue financial information requests promptly at the beginning of each acquisition process.
  • Track outstanding due diligence workstreams, including customer, HR, technology, and legal matters, in coordination with the deal team.
  • Develop and document standardized QofE and financial data collection procedures to improve consistency and efficiency across acquisitions.

Post-Acquisition Integration Support

  • Prepare financial integration data packs and manage the at-close data checklist, ensuring all required information is complete and reconciled before closing.
  • Translate due diligence findings into financial and operational integration tasks.
  • Support chart of accounts mapping and opening balance preparation.
  • Validate contract, revenue, and deferred revenue data to ensure accurate financial information is transferred to the integration team.
  • Improve the handover process between due diligence and integration, minimizing repeated information requests and data collection.

REQUIREMENTS

  • CA, ACCA, CPA, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
  • At least 7 years of experience in transaction services, financial due diligence, or Quality of Earnings (QofE), preferably within a Big Four firm.
  • Proven experience leading multiple buy-side transactions from start to finish, ideally involving software or SaaS businesses.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606.
  • Working knowledge of US sales tax and payroll tax considerations.
  • Experience working with Sage Intacct or a similar ERP system.
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to manage and analyze complex financial data.
  • Availability to work with US and EU time zones during active acquisition deals.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience bringing outsourced QofE or financial due diligence activities in-house.
  • Familiarity with Power Query, SQL, or Python for financial data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience developing standardized financial reporting processes and documentation.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS financial metrics, including recurring revenue, GRR, NRR, and customer concentration.

WORKING HOURS & COMPENSATION

  • Employment Type: Remote, full time
  • Location: Pakistan.
  • Working Hours: 7PM to 4AM PKT

IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are looking for someone who combines strong technical financial expertise with the confidence and independence to take ownership of complex acquisition-related responsibilities.

The ideal candidate is:

  • Confident and Analytical: Comfortable questioning financial assumptions, challenging external advisors, and supporting conclusions with accurate data.
  • Independent and Accountable: Able to manage multiple deal timelines, work with minimal supervision, and recognize when an issue needs to be escalated.
  • Process-Oriented: Interested in building repeatable procedures and improving how financial due diligence and data collection are managed.
  • Detail-Oriented: Committed to accuracy, thorough reconciliation, and ensuring that every financial deliverable is complete and reliable.
  • Forward-Thinking: Able to anticipate integration requirements during the due diligence process and identify potential issues before they become obstacles.
  • Collaborative and Professional: Respectful, friendly, empathetic, punctual, and confident in their abilities while maintaining a team-oriented approach.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
