We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager for the DK Pension to take responsibility for the ongoing management and development of Saxo’s Danish pension offering.

About the job

The role combines pension domain responsibility with senior product management. You will work with the regulatory, operational and commercial aspects of the pension offering, while also helping to drive the product roadmap and digital development.

You will collaborate across business, technology and control functions and play an important role in translating pension regulation, client needs and business requirements into product priorities and solutions.

Key responsibilities

DK Pension and domain management

  • Take responsibility for the Danish pension offering and its ongoing development
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Danish bank pension regulation, taxation and relevant market developments, and translate changes into business and product requirements
  • Help ensure that the pension offering remains compliant and operationally sound in collaboration with Legal, Compliance, Tax and Operations
  • Act as a pension subject-matter expert and point of contact across relevant parts of the organisation
  • Support operational teams with pension-related processes, requirements and work instructions where needed
  • Manage relationships with an external pension vendor as well as partners, including new requirements, changes and prioritisation
  • Participate in external forums and working groups to keep current with market best practices and upcoming regulatory changes

Senior Product Management

  • Own and develop the product vision and roadmap for the pension offering, balancing regulatory requirements, client needs and business priorities
  • Work with the Head of Pension to manage and prioritise the development backlog based on business needs, client value, regulatory requirements and technical dependencies
  • Translate pension, tax and regulatory requirements into clear product and development requirements
  • Work closely with technology teams throughout development and implementation
  • Coordinate across Technology, Onboarding, Operations, Legal, Compliance and other relevant stakeholders
  • Contribute to the continued development of the digital pension customer journey, including opportunities to improve usability and self-service
  • Follow initiatives from initial requirements through implementation and subsequent improvements

Your profile

We are looking for someone with practical knowledge of pensions and experience from the Danish financial sector who is comfortable working with both product development and regulatory requirements.

You may currently work within a pension company, bank, investment firm or another regulated financial institution.

We expect that you bring:

  • Relevant professional experience from the Danish financial sector, with experience related to bank pension framework; ratepension, aldersopsparing and kapitalpension
  • Good knowledge of Danish pension products and the regulatory and tax framework surrounding them
  • Experience from a product-focused role, such as Product Owner, Product Manager, pension product specialist, business developer or a similar position
  • Experience translating regulatory, business or operational requirements into product solutions
  • Experience working with digital development and prioritising requirements or a product backlog
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A structured approach to prioritisation and the ability to work with regulatory, operational, commercial and client considerations simultaneously
  • Fluent in Danish and English

Nice to have

  • Experience with digital investment or trading platforms
  • Knowledge of Aktiesparekonto (ASK) and the broader Danish investment and savings landscape
  • Experience collaborating with external pension providers, administrators or technology vendors
  • A member of external forums and established working groups with deep technical expertise & an industry-wide network

About you

You have a solid understanding of pensions and an interest in how pension products can be developed and improved through digital solutions.

You are comfortable working with different types of stakeholders, from Compliance and Legal to Operations and Technology, and can translate pension-related requirements into practical solutions.

The role could suit someone who has already worked as a Product Owner or Product Manager within pensions, but it could also be relevant for an experienced pension professional who has worked closely with digital product development.

You combine pension knowledge with a structured and collaborative approach and are comfortable taking responsibility for both the day-to-day product agenda and the longer-term development of the pension offering.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
