Job Description:

We are seeking a highly capable, strategic, and results-driven Product Supply Chain Leader – Mexico to lead product supply chain initiatives for Mexico, with primary responsibility for the Monterrey plant. This leader will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure products are launched on time, on cost, and on quality, while building a strong low-cost supply base and enabling sustainable productivity improvements. The ideal candidate brings deep manufacturing expertise, strong leadership capability, and a proven ability to manage complex projects in a dynamic, matrixed environment.

This position requires a hands-on leader with strong business acumen, technical depth, and the ability to influence across functions and levels of the organization. The Product Supply Chain Leader will play a critical role in accelerating innovation, improving speed to market, and strengthening the competitiveness of the Mexico manufacturing footprint.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional execution of product industrialization plans, ensuring readiness of processes, materials, equipment, suppliers, and plant capabilities.
  • Partner with Engineering during the new product design phase to ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles are incorporated early and effectively.
  • Drive reduction of new product development and industrialization lead times through process discipline, project management, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Own total product cost and lead year-over-year productivity initiatives to improve cost competitiveness and margin performance.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop low-cost suppliers, while driving low-cost platforming strategies aligned with business needs and quality expectations.
  • Leverage deep understanding of the local supply base to strengthen sourcing strategies, improve responsiveness, and reduce total landed cost.
  • Lead and support low-cost industrialization initiatives, including localization, supplier transitions, value engineering, and manufacturing footprint optimization.
  • Ensure robust project management for complex product launches and supply chain initiatives, proactively identifying risks, driving mitigation plans, and escalating issues when needed.
  • Collaborate with plant leadership to ensure manufacturing processes are capable, scalable, and aligned with product and customer requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, product cost, launch performance, and supply chain agility.
  • Develop, coach, and strengthen team members, building organizational capability and leadership bench strength.
  • Build strong working relationships across regional and global teams to ensure alignment, transparency, and execution excellence.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, urgency, and continuous improvement within the organization.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in power tools or related industries.
  • Strong experience in new product introduction, manufacturing, supply chain, sourcing, and industrialization.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to lead teams, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and drive results in a matrixed organization.
  • English proficiency required, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated complex project management capability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and execute under tight timelines.
  • Strong knowledge of low-cost industrialization strategies and implementation.
  • Deep knowledge of the local supplier base in Mexico and experience developing supplier capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and product/process industrialization.
  • Experience driving product cost ownership, productivity, and value improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across functions, cultures, and organizational levels.
  • TPS certification is a plus.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
