In proud partnership, SCC LLC is excited to deliver jobs at Rio Tinto Mongolia and its Mongolia Business Services & Support Centre.

Position: Software Asset Management Support Officer Contract length: 1-year contract + potential extension

Purpose of the Role

The Software Asset Management (SAM) Support Officer will join the global SAM team based at the Mongolia Business Services & Support Centre (MBSSC). The role focuses on maintaining accurate vendor and purchasing records, ensuring timely payments, and supporting smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Management

-Manage vendor registration and update vendor information in internal systems. - Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve requests.

Purchase Management

- Process invoices, create service entry sheets, and follow up on payments. - Track software license purchases, payment status, and onboarding requests. - Maintain accurate purchasing records and resolve payment issues.

Renewal Tracking

- Monitor software license renewals and contract status using SAP. - Review software purchases and update internal tracking records. - Coordinate with business units to collect license documentation.

Ticket Management

- Review and resolve user requests or assign them to relevant team members. - Maintain accurate ticket ownership and response records.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. - At least 2 years of relevant experience in a large organization. - Experience in procurement, contract management, finance, or accounting. - Good Excel skills and ability to manage data accurately. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good written and spoken English communication skills. - Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work effectively in a team.
