Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough testing of web and mobile applications to identify and report bugs, defects, and usability issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to understand project requirements and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Create and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and bug fixes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, testing tools, and emerging technologies to continuously improve the QA process.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of test automation frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a QA Specialist with a focus on web and mobile app testing.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and QA best practices.
  • Proficiency in testing tools and technologies, including but not limited to Selenium, Appium, Jira, and TestRail.
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Programming skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript for test automation.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or TestNG.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and version control systems (Git).
  • Basic knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
  • Understanding of SQL for database validation and testing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
