Job Summary

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing the technology strategy for the organization. This executive will leverage over 15 years of experience in technology and leadership, guiding the engineering and platform teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance business operations and customer experiences, particularly in a B2B marketplace or fintech environment. The CTO will be instrumental in the integration of AI and ML into production systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the technology roadmap aligned with business goals and market trends.
  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of engineers and technologists, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions, ensuring scalability and security.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in technology roles, with a significant duration in senior engineering or platform leadership positions (e.g., VP Engineering, CTO, or Head of Platform).
  • Proven track record of leading technology initiatives in a scaled B2B, marketplace, fintech, or commerce business.
  • Expertise in deploying AI and machine learning technologies into production environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-and-platform-oriented thinking.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and platforms.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture and integration.

Experience

- 15+ years of relevant experience in technology leadership, particularly in high-growth environments.
