## Job Summary The General Manager will oversee the legal department, providing strategic leadership and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The role involves managing complex legal matters related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate law, transactions, finance, agreements, and joint ventures. ## Responsibilities - Lead and manage the legal department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and legal standards. - Provide expert advice on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), corporate law, and transaction-related legal matters. - Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal agreements, including contracts, joint venture agreements, and partnership documents. - Oversee legal due diligence processes and support transaction execution. - Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate legal risks and develop strategic legal solutions.

## Qualifications - 10-12 years of experience in the legal domain, specifically within corporate law and transactional work. - Proven hands-on experience in M&A, corporate law, and transaction-based legal activities. - Strong understanding of finance, agreements, and joint venture partnerships. - Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills. - Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities. - Educational qualification: Law degree (LLB, LLM, or equivalent). - Professional certifications or memberships in legal associations are preferred.
