International Sales Manager

Job Summary

An experienced International Sales Manager is sought to lead global market expansion and export growth for a portfolio of copper-based agrochemical products, including Copper Oxychloride, Hydroxide, and Tribasic Copper Sulfate. The role demands an active network of international agrochemical importers, expertise in managing product registration dossiers, and proven skills in export deal structuring to significantly contribute to global sales objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Drive export revenue across key regions including Latin America (LATAM), Southeast Asia (SEA), Africa, Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Europe, and North America (NA) for technical-grade copper salts, fungicides, and micronutrients.
  • Appoint, manage, and scale international distributor networks by setting annual purchasing quotas and providing technical and pricing support.
  • Oversee international product registration and secure local regulatory clearances with target country authorities.
  • Negotiate distribution contracts and secure payment terms such as Letters of Credit (LC), Cash Against Documents (CAD), Advance Telegraphic Transfer (TT), and Export Credit Guarantee Corporation (ECGC) while managing margin risks due to fluctuations in copper raw material prices.
  • Represent the company at major global trade expos such as CAC Shanghai and ChemExpo.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with plant operations and logistics teams to ensure timely export fulfillment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture (B.Sc Ag), Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or an MBA in International Business.
  • Proven track record in global channel expansion, agrochemical regulatory dossier management, commercial deal structuring including Incoterms and Letters of Credit, and price negotiations.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Spanish, French, or Portuguese is preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, written, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and self-motivation abilities.
  • Willingness to travel internationally 25–35% of the time.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with agrochemical sales and regulatory dossiers.
  • Expertise in commercial deal structuring.
  • Multilingual abilities beyond English, especially Spanish, French, or Portuguese.

Experience

  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in international agrochemical export sales and channel management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing distributor networks and navigating regulatory environments in multiple international markets.

Environment

  • Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
  • Work Setting: Office-based with frequent coordination with factory operations and logistics teams for export fulfillment.
  • Travel: Requires 25–35% international travel to key global markets and trade expos.
