The posting
The Cloud & Service Provider segment is expanding rapidly and plays a key role in Schneider Electric’s growth. U.S. Services is building the execution capability that helps strategic customers bring complex, mission-critical infrastructure online safely, reliably, and with a seamless customer experience. This role offers the opportunity to grow with the segment, build deep expertise in data-center execution, and collaborate across businesses on high-visibility customer programs. What will you do? As a Customer Project Manager, you will own the Services execution lane for assigned C&SP projects and work as part of one integrated Schneider Electric team. You will partner closely with the Product Project Manager, Services Program Manager, Site PM/MEP, Field Service Representatives, schedulers, tender/commercial teams, factories, vendors, and customers to deliver Startup & Commissioning and related Services scope from early alignment through closeout. Validate the sold Services scope, assumptions, customer requirements, site-support needs, and resource impacts during tender or early project handoff. Plan and coordinate Field Service Representative and subcontractor mobilization based on confirmed equipment delivery, purchaser-hold release, work-order readiness, site access, safety requirements, and the customer or GC schedule. Own Services startup and commissioning execution, work-order management, execution quality, required reports, sign-offs, and Services closeout documentation. Maintain an accurate Services schedule, revenue forecast, plan end dates, cost outlook, and risk view. Manage the approved Services budget and protect the as-sold gross margin or better. Identify and manage Services risks, quality issues, resource constraints, schedule conflicts, and site blockers. Escalate early and keep the Product Project Manager informed when customer commitments, equipment readiness, overall schedule, or closeout may be affected. Own Services-related change orders for added labor, schedule extensions, site-driven scope, or additional customer support. Route product, factory, design, engineering, or commercial equipment issues to the accountable Product Project Manager. Provide clear, timely customer updates for the Services lane and support a coordinated communication plan so the customer experiences one Schneider Electric team. Use project and customer tools to maintain actions, issues, readiness, documentation, and status visibility when those responsibilities are defined in the project scope. Promote safe execution and support all Schneider Electric and site-specific safety requirements. Capture lessons learned, identify process gaps, and help improve how Services scales execution across the growing C&SP portfolio. What qualifications will make you successful for this role? Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, services, or operations; construction or electrical/mechanical experience a plus. Working knowledge of project lifecycles, scope, schedule, risk, change control, financials, forecasting, documentation, and project closeout. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects, sites, or stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication, with the confidence to work directly with customers and escalate issues constructively. Ability to collaborate across organizations, clarify ownership, influence without direct authority, and keep teams aligned around the customer outcome. Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where processes and capabilities are continuing to mature. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience with SAP, bFS, Smartsheet, CX Alloy, Procore, Oracle, or similar project and financial tools is a plus. PMP certification is a plus. If not currently certified, interest in pursuing formal project management development is expected. Experience in data centers, critical power, cooling, startup and commissioning, field services, or strategic accounts is a plus. Why join us? This is an opportunity to help shape a growing Services execution model while supporting strategic C&SP customers and some of the company’s most visible, complex projects. You will gain exposure across project management, field execution, customer operations, financial performance, critical power, cooling, and cross-business collaboration, creating strong pathways for continued growth in project and program leadership.
