Job Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end fixed assets accounting, including capitalisation, transfers, disposals and reconciliations.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing, maintain accurate asset records and resolve audit queries.
  • Review assets-under-construction balances, validate asset costs and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and policies.
  • Work with project teams and stakeholders to resolve capitalisation issues and prepare financial reports.
  • Provide guidance on fixed assets accounting, asset classification and internal financial procedures.
  • Follow up on outstanding matters and identify opportunities to improve existing processes.

Job Requirements

  • Accountancy knowledge or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • At least 10 years of relevant finance or accounting experience, preferably in fixed assets accounting within a large organisation.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and internal controls.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and numerical skills.
  • Self-motivated, meticulous and able to work independently.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of AI tools, SAP, data analytics, visualisation tools or robotic process automation (RPA) is an advantage.

Duration/Working Hours:

1 year (Immediate)

Mon to Thu, 8.30am to 6.00pm; Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm
