The posting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and set up materials, apparatus and equipment for Science lessons and practical activities.
  • Support ALP, TinkerSpace and maker-related programmes and activities.
  • Maintain and organise Science Rooms and TinkerSpace.
  • Manage inventory, stock-taking, equipment loans and records.
  • Conduct basic equipment checks and report faults or maintenance requirements.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for Science programmes, school events and activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE O Level or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Able to work independently and with teachers/school staff.
  • Experience in a school, laboratory or related support environment is preferred.

Duration/Working hours:

14 months contract (Option to extend 1 year) (Oct 2026 to 31 Dec 2027)

Mondays to Fridays: 7:00am to 2:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break

Break for 2 weeks each during the June and December holidays. During these 2 weeks break,no salary payment The schedule of work days during the school holidays will be given to the appointed candidate 4 weeks prior to the commencement.

Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
