  • Open new matters, maintain case files, and organize electronic and physical documents.
  • Coordinate court filings, including electronic filing in Florida state and federal courts.
  • Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, depositions, hearings, mediations, and other litigation-related events.
  • Monitor court deadlines and maintain accurate calendaring and docketing systems.
  • Assist with discovery coordination, including organizing documents, tracking discovery requests and responses, and maintaining production materials.
  • Prepare deposition, hearing, mediation, and trial materials, including exhibit lists, document binders, and other supporting materials.
  • Coordinate communications with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, experts, vendors, and other outside contacts.
  • Handle incoming correspondence, telephone calls, and email communications professionally and promptly.
  • Assist with travel arrangements, expense reports, time entry, billing support, and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Maintain accurate case information and electronic records using the firm's document management and case management systems.
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the Florida general liability defense team.

  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel, and familiarity with Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize competing deadlines, and maintain accurate records.
  • Strong proofreading, document formatting, and file management skills.
  • Professional communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with attorneys, clients, and external contacts.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • A proactive, service-oriented approach and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced litigation practice.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting a general liability defense, insurance defense, personal injury, or civil litigation practice.
  • Familiarity with Florida state and federal court procedures and electronic filing requirements.
  • Experience with litigation calendaring, docketing, document management, and timekeeping systems.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology, court procedures, and litigation workflows.
  • Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a busy law firm environment.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
