The posting

Are you an experienced Service Owner, Application Owner, or Product Owner with a strong background in Finance and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance? We are looking for a driven and pragmatic finance IT professional to take end-to-end ownership of a business-critical finance IT portfolio and help shape its future direction.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of business and IT, combining operational ownership with strategic development. You will be a key driver in ensuring that the finance platform delivers value today while continuously evolving to meet future business needs.

What McDonald's / Food Folk is offering you

At Food Folk and McDonald's, all employees are equal, regardless of age, gender, and ethnicity. We want to make a difference and in many cases we are the first step in the career and an integration engine in society, something we are very proud of. At Food Folk / McDonald's, we believe that good food can also be sustainable – for our customers, producers and the environment.

In addition to a global, professional workplace with many great colleagues, you get pension, a yearly bonus, food allowance and a range of benefits. With many fun activities all year round, you and all employees will be involved and continue to grow with the Nordic region's largest restaurant chain!

What you will do

As Service Owner, you will have end-to-end ownership of the Finance IT portfolio, with a particular focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance. You will ensure that critical finance services are well managed and continuously developed, while also helping shape the long-term direction of the platform. The role combines operational responsibility with strategic development and requires you to move comfortably between business needs, IT priorities, vendors, and senior stakeholders.

You will work closely with the PMO and project organisation to bring new initiatives and implementations into the operational environment, while driving continuous improvement and digitalisation across the finance platform. You will also contribute to the ongoing development of IT Service Management, governance, and ways of working as the wider IT organisation continues to mature.

In the role, you will:

  • Own the Finance IT portfolio – manage the full lifecycle of finance services, from new implementations and transition into operations to continuous improvement and future development.
  • Drive business and IT alignment – act as a key link between Finance, IT, senior stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring priorities are understood, decisions are made, and issues are escalated and resolved.
  • Lead governance and service management – ensure appropriate documentation, compliance, governance, processes, and ways of working according to service criticality, while contributing to the continued maturity of IT Service Management.
  • Manage partners, budget and performance – oversee vendor relationships, governance, budget follow-up, and cost control across the finance IT portfolio.
  • Lead change and digitalisation – drive cross-functional initiatives and identify practical opportunities for continuous improvement, automation, and AI that can create tangible value for the finance organisation.
  • Provide finance application expertise – act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on finance applications, combining a strong understanding of the business with the ability to navigate both operational and strategic priorities.

What we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced Finance IT professional who combines strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance with a broader understanding of finance processes, IT service management, and business needs. You have experience taking ownership of business-critical applications or services and are comfortable working across both strategic and operational levels.

You are used to working in a complex stakeholder environment and can build strong relationships across Finance, IT, senior leadership, and external partners. You bring structure and a pragmatic approach to governance, service management, and continuous improvement, while also being able to drive change and deliver results.

We expect you to have:

  • Several years of experience as a Service Owner, Application Owner, Product Owner, or in a similar Finance IT role, with responsibility for business-critical applications or services.
  • Solid expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and a good understanding of core finance processes, including financial accounting, controlling, reporting, budgeting, and master data management.
  • A good understanding of ITSM, ITIL, governance, vendor management, and working in a cloud-based systems environment.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives and translating business needs into practical IT solutions, while combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Confident communicating and presenting to different audiences, including senior leadership, and experienced in building effective relationships across business, IT, and external partners.
  • Experience with budgets, cost follow-up, vendors, and the ongoing management and performance of a Finance IT portfolio.

Nice to have

The following experience is not required, but would be considered an advantage:

  • ERP experience beyond Dynamics 365 – experience with other ERP platforms, such as SAP, is a plus. A strong understanding of finance and ERP processes is considered transferable to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.
  • ITIL certification – a formal ITIL certification or equivalent is valued, but not required.
  • Experience from a mature IT organisation – experience from a larger organisation with established service management practices is an advantage. A background in consulting or agency work, combined with experience moving into a client-side role, is also relevant.

About you

You are a good listener who understands different perspectives, but you are also comfortable setting boundaries and making decisions when priorities compete.

You are driven, curious, and capable of operating with a high level of personal responsibility. At the same time, you are self-aware, know your limits, and are comfortable asking for support when needed.

You are confident enough to lead and challenge when necessary, while remaining humble and collaborative. You can move naturally between business stakeholders, IT specialists, vendors, and senior leadership, adapting your communication to the audience.

Most importantly, you enjoy making things happen. You can translate business needs into practical IT priorities and help turn change into tangible results.

Location

The primary location is Stockholm, Sweden.

We are also open to candidates based in Malmö or Copenhagen, with the possibility of working from our office in Copenhagen.

Regular presence in the office is an important part of the role. We are looking for someone who wants to be close to the team, the business, and the day-to-day operation.

Application

As interviews and selection are conducted on an ongoing basis, we kindly ask you to submit your application as soon as possible.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
