About Atrea

Atrea helps organisations simplify and automate their Workforce Management: from time registration and access control to workforce planning, leave, absence and reporting. As part of ShareCompany Group, we develop data-driven IT solutions that help organisations work more efficiently and make the best use of their people.

We continuously improve and renew our software to give our customers a better, smarter and more user-friendly experience. With a strong focus on data, technology and innovation, we work closely with our customers on reliable solutions that make a real impact.

Build the mobile app and the backend behind it

Our mobile app is built with .NET MAUI for iOS and Android and is used every day by our customers' employees for time registration, absence requests, schedules and notifications. The backend is a modular ASP.NET Core API backed by SQL Server. You split your time roughly 50/50 between mobile and backend development, working together with the other engineers of the CREATE team to deliver reliable features, maintain existing functionality and improve the architecture of both the app and its backend.

We are looking for a medior to senior engineer with practical experience in both mobile and backend development, who takes ownership of features from implementation through testing and release.

Your growth at Atrea

You start by getting to know Atrea, our platform, our customers and the existing app and API. As you grow, you take ownership of larger parts of the mobile app and its backend, and you can develop towards a senior or lead engineering role with responsibility for mobile architecture, release processes and engineering practices.

Along the way you get the opportunity to take on more responsibility for technical design, test automation and initiatives around AI-assisted development and automation.

What will you do?

Mobile development (≈50%):

• Build, maintain and improve our .NET MAUI app for iOS and Android using C#, XAML and MVVM.

• Integrate the app with our REST API and real-time updates via SignalR, including offline caching where appropriate.

• Implement platform features such as push notifications, maps and device capabilities.

• Improve stability and performance across devices, OS versions and network conditions, using crash reporting, analytics and systematic debugging.

• Manage mobile builds and releases to the App Store and Google Play, including code signing, provisioning and store submissions.

• Write and maintain automated mobile UI tests and help improve test coverage.

Backend development (≈50%):

• Build and maintain features in our C# / ASP.NET Core Web API: endpoints, business logic and data access.

• Design and evolve SQL Server schemas, queries and stored procedures.

• Work on backend services that support the mobile app, such as push notifications and background processing.

• Implement authentication and authorization flows, including JWT, OAuth and multi-factor authentication.

• Design API contracts together with the mobile side, with a focus on backward compatibility for app versions already in the stores.

• Write unit tests, take part in code reviews and help keep code quality high.

• Investigate and resolve issues that span the mobile app, API and database.

What do you bring?

Professional experience: Typically 3+ years of professional C# / .NET development, with practical skills at a medior-to-senior level.

.NET MAUI / Xamarin.Forms: Hands-on experience building and maintaining production iOS and Android apps with .NET MAUI or Xamarin.Forms, and the ability to work with modern .NET MAUI.

MVVM and XAML: A solid understanding of MVVM, data binding, commands and maintainable mobile app architecture.

ASP.NET Core Web API: Practical experience building REST APIs, implementing business logic and working with dependency injection and authentication.

SQL Server: Experience with T-SQL, schema design and stored procedures, using EF Core and/or Dapper for data access.

Mobile releases: Experience with the full release lifecycle: building, signing, publishing and maintaining apps in the App Store and Google Play.

Git: Familiar with branching strategies, pull requests and code reviews.

End-to-end ownership: You deliver features across mobile and backend, from API and database changes to mobile implementation, testing and release.

Languages: Fluent English

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
