Wil je met jouw werk direct bijdragen aan een slimmere binnenvaart? Ter uitbreiding van ons team autonoom varen, zijn wij op zoek naar een ervaren machine learning engineer. Samen met je collega’s ben je verantwoordelijk voor de ontwikkeling van onze autonome producten. Je bent van a tot z betrokken, van concept en ontwikkeling tot het testen en succesvol implementeren van nieuwe features.

Shipping Technology is een toonaangevende speler in de maritieme sector, gespecialiseerd in innovatieve technologische oplossingen voor de scheepvaartindustrie. Ons team bestaat uit gepassioneerde professionals die samen werken aan het verbeteren van de efficiëntie en duurzaamheid van de maritieme sector.

Dit ga je doen

  • Je verwerkt data van verschillende sensoren om een goede representatie van het schip en zijn omgeving te creëren;
  • Je ontwikkelt scheepsmodellen die het gedrag van het schip voorspellen;
  • Je bouwt modellen die het brandstofverbruik voorspellen;
  • Je ontwikkelt modules die de route planning voor het schip bepalen;
  • Je staat in contact met kapiteins om feedback op te halen en storingen te analyseren. Aan de hand van deze informatie zoek jij naar verbeteringen en stel je die natuurlijk voor;
  • Je werkt nauw samen met het technisch team, om samen tot de beste ontwikkelingen te komen van onze producten. Je directe collega’s zijn onze autonomy engineers, data engineers, Front End developers en UX-designer.

Dit ben jij

Opleiding: Je hebt een afgeronde WO-opleiding in de richting van computer science, AI of een vergelijkbare opleiding;

Ervaring: Je hebt al minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in een software development omgeving. Je hebt kennis en ervaring met het deployen en managen van ML-modellen in productie.

Vaardigheden:

  • Ruime ervaring met Python en SQL
  • Machine learning tools zoals: SK-learn en TensorFlow
  • Je hebt eerder gewerkt met Docker en GIT
  • Je bent bekend met signal processing technieken zoals Kalman filtering
  • Je hebt ervaring met MLops.
  • Je bent eerder betrokken geweest bij het monitoren van prestaties, versiebeheer en het bijhouden van libraries;
  • Ervaring met een cloud platform zoals GCP of Azure is gewenst;
  • Eventueel heb je ervaring met CI/CD-tools.
