The posting

Sacred Heart University’s College of Health Professions invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty to support the Associate of Science in Radiography program as instructional needs arise. The Radiography program prepares students for entry-level practice in the medical imaging field through a curriculum that combines foundational sciences, radiologic sciences, and patient care. Coursework includes areas such as image production and acquisition, equipment operation, quality control, radiation protection, digital imaging, and specialized imaging modalities.   Responsibilities:

Teach assigned didactic courses in on-ground and/or online formats. Develop and facilitate instructional content and assess student learning. Use a variety of instructional strategies to engage students and support learning outcomes. Utilize Blackboard Ultra to manage course materials and communication. Provide regular and timely feedback to students and be available for student support. Advise students on matters related to academics, clinical progress, attendance, and professional expectations. Maintain and report grades and attendance in accordance with University policies.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree preferred. Current ARRT® certification and registration in Radiography (R); additional credentials in Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance (MR), and/or Mammography (M) are preferred. Current State of Connecticut Radiographer license. Minimum of two years of professional experience. Prior college-level teaching experience and proficiency with an online course management system are preferred.
