Full-Time Nursing Faculty: First Professional Degree – Obstetrics Sacred Heart University’s Davis & Henley College of Nursing (DHCON) invites applications for a full-time, nine (9) month faculty position in Maternal Care/Obstetrics beginning January 2027. Rank and tenure status will be commensurate with background and experience. Join a collaborative, student-centered faculty committed to preparing compassionate, highly skilled nurses through innovative teaching, evidence-based practice, and hands-on learning. Faculty benefit from state-of-the-art nursing and high-fidelity simulation labs, along with opportunities for research, professional development, interprofessional collaboration, and community engagement. The successful candidate will primarily teach and mentor students in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) First Professional Degree program. Teaching in the Second Degree Accelerated BSN program may also be required. Requirements:

Doctoral degree in Nursing or a related field preferred; candidates currently enrolled in a doctoral program are encouraged to apply. Clinical expertise in Maternal Care/Obstetrics. Previous higher education teaching experience preferred. Commitment to fostering a collegial and collaborative academic environment that reflects the University’s mission and supports the intellectual, ethical, and professional development of students.
