Job Summary

The Marketer will be responsible for promoting the Bank's products and services, generating new business opportunities, supporting deposit mobilization efforts, and increasing customer acquisition across assigned locations.

The ideal candidate must be energetic, result-oriented, and capable of driving sales and customer engagement initiatives within the microfinance banking sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and market the Bank's products and services to prospective customers.
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through field marketing and customer engagement activities.
  • Support deposit mobilization initiatives and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Conduct regular field visits, road shows, and market activations to drive visibility and business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance customer loyalty and retention.
  • Generate quality sales leads and refer potential loan opportunities to the credit team.
  • Meet assigned sales, deposit, and marketing targets within specified timelines.
  • Educate customers on the Bank's financial products, services, and value propositions.
  • Gather market intelligence and provide feedback on customer needs and competitor activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and marketing reports.
  • Ensure prompt follow-up on customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Collaborate with branch teams to improve customer experience and business performance.
  • Ensure compliance with operational policies and marketing guidelines of the Bank.

Requirements & Competencies

  • Minimum of 2 – 4 years' experience in Marketing, Sales, Customer Acquisition, or Deposit Mobilization within a financial institution or Microfinance Bank.
  • Strong sales and marketing skills with a target-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good customer relationship management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet targets.
  • Strong networking and prospecting capabilities.
  • Basic understanding of retail banking and financial products.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • High level of professionalism, confidence, and integrity.

Educational Qualification

  • HND/B.Sc in Marketing, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Economics, or any related discipline.
