The posting

Do you want to help shape a modern way of building software, where AI is part of the everyday development environment? Join Truvio Commerce and turn real customer problems into simple, useful product experiences.

In this role, you will not be handed a detailed specification. You will be given a problem and trusted to understand the customer need, identify the simplest effective solution and build it, with AI supporting a large part of the work.

This is not primarily a role focused on adding AI features to the product. It is an opportunity for a modern product engineer who knows how to use AI tools effectively across research, implementation, testing, refactoring and review.

About the role

As an AI-Native Product Engineer, you will work closely with Product Management from the first idea through to a finished solution. You will explore the real problem behind a request, challenge assumptions and build solutions that are valuable for the people who use them.

You will join Truvio Commerce, our ecommerce, product information management and content management platform with deep ERP integration. The department consists of around 22 colleagues, including 12 developers and five Product Managers, working together to develop a product used by B2B and B2C companies to run their online business.

Claude is our main AI tool and is already part of the team’s daily work. We know that software development is changing quickly, and we are looking for someone who is curious, experimental and willing to challenge how we work as we continue to learn.

What you’ll do

  • Understand the problem before you solve it. You work with Product Management from the first idea to the finished thing. You push to understand what the real problem is, and you find the simplest way to solve it for the user.
  • Build for real people. Someone out there uses this to do their job. You have the empathy to understand their day, see what annoys them, and make it better. You care about the whole user experience, not just whether the code runs.
  • Use AI as your working environment, not as autocomplete. You want to move toward orchestrating several AI agents on different parts of a problem at once. Prompts, context, limits, checks — you build the setup that makes it reliable. Research, implementation, testing, refactoring, code review: if a machine does it well, let it. You still read the output critically. Generated code is not automatically correct code.
  • Work across our stack. We build with C#, .NET, TypeScript, HTML, CSS and APIs. Frontend, backend, integrations, data — you go where the problem takes you.
  • Decide what to automate and what to keep human. Not everything belongs to an agent. You work out where automation helps, where AI assists, and where a person should stay in control.

How you’ll work

Look at what others in commerce and B2B software are doing. Look at how other companies solve the same problems. Bring it back and use it.

You don't need a research task. You need to be the kind of person who goes and looks.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a pragmatic and curious software engineer who cares about customer value and uses AI as a natural part of modern product development. You do not need to meet every requirement, but we believe you will bring several of the following:

  • Solid professional experience building software
  • Uses AI development tools every day — prompting, context, agents, checking what comes out
  • Pragmatic. You care about the result, not the technology.
  • Can judge generated code critically, which takes real fundamentals
  • Curious about the business and the customer behind the code
  • Real empathy for the people using what you build
  • Comfortable working without a detailed spec
  • Experience with C#, .NET, TypeScript and web development, or the appetite to get there

Who you are

  • You take ownership, ask thoughtful questions and make sure you understand the customer problem before you start building.
  • You enjoy working without a detailed specification, collaborate well across product and engineering, and know how to balance experimentation with reliable delivery.
  • You are motivated by continuous improvement and use automation to reduce repetitive work so you can focus on framing problems, designing solutions and creating a strong user experience.
  • Above all, you care about shipping solutions that are simple, useful and easy to work with for the people who depend on them.

Why Truvio?

At Truvio, you will join an international SaaS environment where people are encouraged to Take Ownership, Build Trust, Drive Innovation and Succeed Together. You will have the opportunity to influence how we build software with AI, work with experienced colleagues and make a visible impact on a product used by customers to run their business.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
