The posting

About the role

Do you see repetitive manual work and immediately start thinking about how to automate it? Are you curious about where AI can genuinely improve software quality and pragmatic enough to know where human judgement still matters? Join Truvio and help us build smarter, scalable ways to test, release, and document our Commerce platform.

As our QA & Documentation Automation Engineer, you will create automated and AI-assisted workflows that catch issues earlier, expand our test coverage, and keep documentation aligned with a continuously evolving product. You will work across QA, Product, Engineering, and Technical Writing to take promising experiments from idea to reliable, maintainable solutions.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership and visible impact. You will have the freedom to explore new tools and approaches, and the responsibility to turn the best of them into systems the wider team can trust.

What you will do

The role is expected to focus approximately 70–80% on QA and 20–30% on documentation automation.

  • Expand and strengthen automated testing. Improve how we run QA through automated tests, AI-generated test cases, and smarter validation, enabling the QA team to focus more on functionality and the user journey.
  • Embed quality earlier in development. Integrate automated QA into development and release pipelines so issues are identified while the code is still being built—not just before release.
  • Keep documentation aligned with the product. Build systems that generate and update product and technical documentation from structured product information, with reliable checks before anything is published.
  • Explore, evaluate, and scale new approaches. Test tools, frameworks, and integrations, learn quickly from what does not work, and turn successful experiments into dependable team workflows.
  • Improve the system, not only the outcome. Use test results and recurring quality issues to identify root causes and improve the processes behind them.

Your guiding question

Where manual work is still needed, can it be automated, AI-assisted, or built directly into the development workflow?

You will own the automation pipeline, but you will not start from zero. We already have several Claude skills for QA testing and a foundation of Playwright tests. The next stage, and much of how it develops, will be yours to shape.

You will have colleagues around you to help define the work, develop ideas, and build solutions. What we need from you is ownership: someone who takes initiative, creates momentum, and makes sure promising ideas become part of how we work.

You will report to the Director, Product Development, Commerce.

What you bring

You combine a strong foundation in QA or software development with technical curiosity and a practical approach to innovation. You do not need to match every point below, we value potential, sound judgement, and the ability to learn quickly.

  • At least three years of experience in software QA, test automation, software development, or a similarly technical field.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools, LLMs, or AI-assisted development, together with a realistic understanding of their strengths and limitations.
  • Experience building integrations, scripts, or automated workflows in CI/CD environments.
  • A solid understanding of automated testing principles and modern release processes.
  • Confidence working with APIs, structured data, and developer tooling.

Who you are

  • You are curious and proactive, with a natural drive to explore new tools and better ways of working.
  • You take ownership, create momentum, and turn promising ideas into reliable solutions.
  • You work in a structured way and enjoy making complex information and processes easier to manage.
  • You are pragmatic and know how to balance experimentation with the need to deliver dependable results.
  • You collaborate well across disciplines and build trust by sharing knowledge and involving others.

You do not need to be an expert developer. Using AI-assisted development to build a working tool is welcome, provided the result is reliable, maintainable, and useful to the team. What matters most is that you are technically confident enough to move ideas forward independently.

It is an advantage if you have seen QA operate across several teams or release trains and understand which practices scale successfully.

What success looks like

  • Our testing covers more scenarios, provides deeper insight, and identifies issues earlier in development.
  • Product changes are reflected in documentation without manual chasing.
  • QA colleagues spend more time on functionality and the user journey—and less time on repetitive checks.
  • We have a clearer understanding of which AI approaches create sustainable value for our products and teams.
  • The solutions you build become a trusted, permanent part of how we develop and release software.

Why join Truvio?

At Truvio, you will join an ambitious international SaaS company where your ideas can quickly become tangible improvements. You will have the opportunity to shape a newly evolving area, work with modern AI and automation tools, and see the direct impact of what you build across Product and Engineering. Our culture is grounded in four values: Take Ownership, Build Trust, Drive Innovation, and Succeed Together.

If you are excited by the opportunity to combine QA, automation, documentation, and AI, and want the freedom to build solutions that last, we would love to hear from you.

Practical information

  • Location: Viby J, Denmark, with a hybrid working model.
  • Language: English is the main language for meetings and day-to-day collaboration. Danish is not required.
  • Employment: Full-time.
  • Start date: By agreement.

About Truvio

Truvio is a fast-growing, international SaaS company bringing established Microsoft Dynamics ISVs together in one unified organization. Our intelligent product portfolio is built exclusively for Dynamics 365 and helps customers and partners close the ERP Value Gap by connecting finance, operations, and commerce in one Microsoft-native suite. Today, we are more than 450 colleagues across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia.

You will join our Commerce Product & Engineering organization and a department of around 22 colleagues. Your closest collaborators will include three QA colleagues, our Technical Writer, developers, and Product Managers. Together, you will improve how quality and documentation are built into everyday product development. Claude is our main AI tool and is already part of the team’s daily work.

We know this field is evolving quickly, so we are not looking for someone with every answer. We are looking for someone who is curious enough to explore, confident enough to challenge established ways of working, and practical enough to turn learning into solutions that last.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
