Our people-centered organization focuses on skills development, relationship building, and client success. We take pride in cultivating an environment where all team members can grow, feel heard, valued, and empowered.

If you like what we’re saying, keep reading!

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

SimCorp is transforming its existing client base to SimCorp One, our flagship enterprise platform for the world’s largest investment managers. SaaS is the foundation that makes this transformation scalable, resilient and commercially compelling.

As Sales Director, SaaS, you will sit at the centre of this growth mission. You will join a global specialist SWAT team working with regional Sales and Customer Success teams to move clients from on-premise deployments to SaaS-based SimCorp One. This is a client-facing, quota-carrying role with real ownership: from the first executive conversation and business case through solution shaping, commercial negotiation and signature.

You will help clients make one of their most important technology and operating-model decisions, while directly contributing to SimCorp’s global SaaS growth and the successful adoption of SimCorp One.

**What You Will Be Responsible For

**Own complex SaaS transformation sales

  • Lead the SaaS commercial motion for selected existing clients across EMEA, in close partnership with regional Sales and Customer Success teams.
  • Own qualified opportunities from first client engagement through discovery, business case, proposal, negotiation and signature.
  • Translate each client’s business, operating-model and technology priorities into a credible SaaS transformation roadmap and commercial proposition.
  • Carry and deliver a multi-million-euro ARR target, maintaining clear opportunity strategy, forecast discipline and deal momentum.

Orchestrate the deal team

  • Mobilise and lead virtual deal teams across Sales, Customer Success, Solution Consulting, Product, Platform, Services, Legal and Commercial Finance.
  • Create clarity on roles, decisions, dependencies and next steps, ensuring complex sales processes progress with pace and quality.
  • Engage confidently with C-level, technology, operations, procurement and risk stakeholders, adapting the value case to each audience.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and internal governance, balancing client outcomes, speed and long-term value for SimCorp.

Accelerate the global SaaS growth engine

  • Work as part of the specialist SimCorp One and SaaS SWAT team, sharing expertise and supporting priority transformations across markets.
  • Partner with GTM, Marketing and regional leadership to identify the right clients, build pipeline and focus resources where conversion potential is strongest.
  • Improve the SaaS pitch, value proposition and competitive positioning against alternatives such as remaining on-premise, running a client-owned cloud journey or full outsourcing.
  • Capture field insight and feed it back into offer development, pricing, contracting, product roadmap, sales materials and enablement.

Build market confidence and repeatability

  • Act as a visible SaaS thought leader internally and externally, making complex cloud and operating-model topics commercially relevant and easy to understand.
  • Use standard sales plays, artefacts and governance while adapting the client journey to market maturity, installed landscape and transformation readiness.
  • Create reusable deal patterns and lessons that improve conversion, consistency and scale across EMEA.

**What We Value

**Most importantly, you can see yourself contributing and thriving in the position described above. How you gained the skills needed for doing that is less important. We expect you to be good at several of the following and be able to - and interested in - learning the rest:

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software, cloud, managed services, financial technology or a comparable complex solution-sales environment.
  • Proven record of winning large, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals and meeting or exceeding multi-million-euro ARR targets.
  • Strong commercial understanding of public cloud, SaaS, enterprise technology and recurring-revenue business models.
  • Experience selling transformation rather than a standalone product, including the ability to build an executive business case and navigate long decision cycles.
  • Good understanding of financial services and preferably the buy-side investment management industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional deal teams without formal authority and to create momentum in a global matrix organisation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional European languages are an advantage, preferably German
  • Relevant higher education in business, economics, technology, engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Capabilities and working style

  • Commercial owner: You take accountability for the outcome, keep the client and internal team aligned, and move decisively from interest to commitment.
  • Executive seller: You create trust with senior stakeholders, challenge constructively and connect technology choices to measurable business value.
  • Deal orchestrator: You bring the right experts together, simplify complexity and maintain clear governance across large virtual teams.
  • Transformation mindset: You understand that a move to SaaS changes technology, operations, risk, economics and ways of working, and you can lead clients through that change.
  • Builder and collaborator: You improve the sales motion while executing it, sharing insight freely and contributing to one global SaaS growth mission.
  • Disciplined and curious: You combine rigorous forecasting and deal management with the curiosity to understand each client’s context and identify a path forward.
  • AI-enabled: You use AI tools responsibly to research, prepare, synthesise and scale high-quality commercial work.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
