Job Summary

Manage and oversee construction project components by supervising site activities, ensuring compliance with technical designs, budgets, and timelines. Collaborate with clients and subcontractors to provide technical solutions and maintain health, safety, and sustainability standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage specific parts of construction projects to ensure timely and quality delivery
  • Oversee building work to maintain adherence to project plans and standards
  • Conduct site surveys to gather accurate data for project execution
  • Set out construction sites to establish precise reference points for building activities
  • Check technical designs and drawings to verify correct implementation on site
  • Supervise contracted staff to ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Ensure project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets, and timelines
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, quantity surveyors, and project managers to coordinate project progress
  • Provide technical advice and resolve on-site problems to maintain workflow
  • Prepare detailed site reports and complete required documentation accurately
  • Coordinate with quantity surveyors on material ordering and pricing to control costs
  • Enforce adherence to health, safety, and sustainability policies and legislation on site
